hi i’m just hoping to see if there’s anyone who has applied for an energy grant for them. It says 4 weeks waiting time. Mine has been just over that and has said awaiting decision from 26/10/22 is this the final stage? how long have you waited?

I’m still waiting around 5 weeks after applying, maybe it’s because so many of us have started once we found out about it? Unsure. 🤞 you get accepted. Xx

still waiting says awaiting decision from 7th November keep checking every day . so they’ve had info from BG . what is yours saying ?

I can't see any information or log in to my account to see any process but I emailed BGET they said they have sent over for the estimated debts. British Gas have said they have recieved and passed on information so I'm just waiting and I have no clue if I will be accepted. I really hope so. Goodluck to you hope you get accepted xx

My status says notified British Gas my energy supplier since 7th Nov British gas say no record of this on my accounts ? anyone know what happens after this status as 4 weeks this week since applied

check your account u found my bill had been paid . maybe give them a call or send an email

I've just recieved £1400 off my gad & electricity.thwy don't even tell you or update. I waited a whole 4 weeks and 2 days to find out myself that I had been accepted as the balance got taken off on british gas so normally that's a yes xx

I contacted british gas again this morning was told to contact Energy Trust where the status still says notified British, whom said again they dont have any record of being notified ?

Yeah mine said the same for sonlong and I kept ringing she said oh you've been accepted 2 weeks ago. So they don't tell you until you've probably found out yourself. I think they only get in contact straight away to say you've not been accepted. Not to get your hopes up but I think you've been accepted x

Just ring british gas to see if the balance has been taken off constantly? Or email BGET as they get back to you once you've mithered them as they was the ones eho apologies and said I've been accepted but they didn't understand why no one told me

I rang BG again was on phone near 2 hours whilst advisor was trying to investigate but got there in the end apparentely when Energy Trust contacted BG they were in process of changing my elec and gas accounts to some new system and my arrears hadn't been transferred to new account so they were waiting for it to be then I got forgotten when it was transferred. So advisor emailed Energy Trust whilst I was on phone with all my details and going to phone me back tomorrow with update. Just shows its who you speak too others just fob you off. x

This is exactly what happened to me. The right girl who you probably spoken to is the one eho dealt with me she's amazing lol. But 2 weeks after again waiting on the decision I still had to email and ring back up and the same girl went out of her way to investigate it for ne and I gor accepted 2 weeks prior, It's just no one could be bothered.i think you'll be accepted. Good luck zxx

Mine was approved but they have the wrong amount so emailed them the correct arrears on elec statement they have sent to supervisor at british gas over £1,400 short of my arrears ?

since I applied for the British Gas energy trust grant I’ve had another bill go on so the figures I sent on my application are now wrong! My application status just says notified British Gas.
