Thank you for letting me rant on here about dd I know my posts don’t always make sense to anyone else but it really helps. I usually post about it with steam coming out my ears in frustration

Alfie you are so restrained with your dd and her Ex. I know you have to be but it can't be easy. I take my hat off to you. The situation sounds like a nightmare and the Ex gets worse with every post, neglecting animals is terrible. Their gender is neither here nor there, they are a toxic arsehole.

Tayto I love a Sunday when I'm off Monday, it's so relaxing. My Ds loved the Goonies.

I took advantage of my morning off to send some texts/e-mails and pay my car insurance. I also set up an account with my local garage - they have a competition running whereby you can win free fuel for a year. Fingers crossed....... Off to pick up DD from school so we can head to the orthodontist. I need to pick up a new postbox. My current one is letting in water.

£0 at dunelm in store - took cushion covers back and switched them for mugs.

£33 dunelm online on two jute cushions. They only had one left in store. Via top cash back.

I've also arranged to meet the census enumerator 'cos I missed her last week and for some reason, they have to deliver the form by hand. Which must be really inconvenient for them.

I think I got away with it, went for stomach bug as no one wants too many details of that! My colleague kept telling I still didn’t look well, so basically I looked rubbish today! 🤣

Born I don’t think he’s an ex anymore which is the problem she’s just not being honest about it dh is in denial and wants to believe her I don’t. Not that I discuss it with her. Her Facebook is still a picture of them together and relationship status as in a relationship although they aren’t friends she did comment on his post the other day and he has again shared her university survey calling her his parents. Given the fact she only wrote the survey after they split up and she says she’s been no contact since I smell a rat this is just one of many things I’ve noticed

£10 to ds for lunch at college this week £20 to dd for food and Spotify. I have felt a bit off today think the time of the month is due sore boobs stomachache and felt sickly all day. I am off as I have finished my old job and don’t start my new job until Monday

Argh I cannot find anything for this weekends night out. 5 tops to take back to shops on Wednesday. I think I’ve got a back up if I absolutely must outfit but it’s years old. And I’m over it. Hoping to find something in town. Feeling fat and frumpy.

Curls I asked her outright a while ago said I’d rather she be honest she denied it so just going along with it as there is not much else I can do it will come out eventually dh asked her a month later she denied it so he’s convinced no matter what I show him that she wouldn’t lie to him which I find really sad but given the things she told us she is probably embarrassed about going back. I don’t want to her to feel she can’t come to us if she decides to leave yet again because he won’t change it’s who he is

Dcat weed on my Ugg slippers this morning no idea why he’s 4 I have caught him weeing in the house on the odd occasion before but he had literally just been out. Hope they don’t get wrecked or wreck my washer
This being due on is doing great for being frugal I get really warm not hot flushes just hot especially in the evening so I’ve switched the heating off for tonight it’s usually me who is freezing dh and ds don’t feel the cold hope I don’t end up stood in the garden at 3am for a cool lol

£60 candle shop - presents for dm dsis and godmother for Mother’s Day and birthdays.

£7 lunch. Eeek. I’m usually really good and bring lunch with me but was in a rush this morning so didn’t.

Returned 2 tops to Next. And found the perfect dress for this weekend! Honestly it’s like someone had ready mind about the sort of thing I was looking for, it’s so flattering on a larger figure like mine, I can’t believe my luck. And only £25, I feel so much better about going away this weekend now.

Going into town tomorrow to return the other tops I ordered from Yours. And I need some shapewear to hold in my wobbly bits. And some eyeshadow as the palette I bought about 3 years ago the colours have all smashed to powder.

I’m off work this week and have got loads done so far, feeling very productive.

Evening all dh decided to top his car up as it had got to half and the price seems to be going up daily he stopped at £50 and it’s not quite full eeek
It’s been lovely here today so pegged the washing out and took ddog out for a really long walk.
Slippers and washer have survived not sure Dcat will if he piddles in them again
