Same lonely £35 delivered here. Err bugger off. Nothing I can't get in the range.

Ah bugger wolf. I wondered if you and a couple other on the group would be affected. DS won't be able to visit H will he either to give you a break

lifelongfrugaleer · 31/07/2020 06:58

And you are not a saddo so just stop that thinking

ememem84 · 31/07/2020 07:49

Wow. Again?!

We’ve been “warned” by our govt not to go to France because of the rising rates in Brittany. But france is still in the green zone for us as they’re letting the French tourists and day trippers in (and no isolation for the day trippers).

Anyway. Breakfast picnic in the park with the dc and some friends this morning while dh works on the garden some more. It’s great he’s doing it but I could do with some time at home without the noise of the grinder or the whacker and could do with just being able to enjoy the garden. Especially in this heat. But the park will be nice. It has a huge paddle pool - whether it’s open though is another matter!

Low spends today. Maybe ice creams for breakfast picnic pudding!

Ds can still go to his dads and I can still see my parents as single parent bubbles and visiting nrps is still in the rules

Lovemaltesers · 31/07/2020 08:51

That’s a relief wolf but sorry your plans can’t go ahead

Melting here!

lifelongfrugaleer · 31/07/2020 09:56

xmummy2princesx · 31/07/2020 13:40

I got an email from my local council and we have been advised 2 carry on shielding :(. So upsetting was rly looking 2 do more from 2mo

SnugglySnerd · 31/07/2020 14:25

Sorry to hear that mummy, I've forgotten whereabouts you are but I know Sandwell council have told people the same today, which is quite close to us, I'm resigned to things locking down again in the foreseeable.

lifelongfrugaleer · 31/07/2020 16:32

Oh no.
So many changes today with the roolz

SnugglySnerd · 31/07/2020 17:19

I'm starting to feel very anxious about going back to school. The new rules make me think there's going to be a surge in cases. I hope I am overreacting!

Mrsmadevans · 31/07/2020 17:48

Afternoon everyone Smile
Than you all for your lovely comments re the Kymin , it is really an amazing place to visit, we love going there and make a point of going at least once a year Smile
We are continuing to go out and connect with nature as we have realised it is a calming influence on us both , healing and very cathartic Smile
Today we saw to Mum & Bob and went to the Mountain centre again, it was glorious Smile
Dh had a bacon sarnie & we both had Cappuchinos , can thoroughy recommend the catering there too Grin
Snuggly l know it's really scary for you but they have said children are not super spreaders , if they get it then they are not affected badly by it and as long as everyone is careful l am sure you will be alright Flowers

Em your day sounds lovely Smile

Mrsmadevans · 31/07/2020 17:59

@LonelyOversharer

north Gateshead for me, don't recommend it life unless you really need something! Home delivery to me (45 miles west) is more than the fuel driving over.

Just did 8 miles on my bike. I'm sick of feeling like an old, fat slug.

Omg me too Lonely Hmm
xmummy2princesx · 31/07/2020 18:18

That’s my council snuggly didn’t realise you was close to me!

Luvly pics again mrs ❤️

Mrsmadevans · 31/07/2020 18:54

Thank you Mummy Smile

SingToTheSky · 31/07/2020 19:42

Namechanged. I think this is my third since I decided to stick with referring to the DCs as Caglets :o

I am miffed as a couple of months ago I finally phoned the bank to sort out some payments, and I downgraded my account which was long overdue. He assured me it would be done but I’ve now had two payments taken out, I assumed the first might have been because of some notice period (I couldn’t find any info on it). Not sure if there’s been an issue as they made a fuss about lack of ID last time I was in but they haven’t emailed me to say there was a problem. Hmm So I need to phone them and be assertive 😫 noooo!

SnugglySnerd · 31/07/2020 19:56

I'm in Birmingham Mummy!
Mrs I'd be less concerned if I taught primary but I'm secondary, year 11 are virtually adults! Anyway, I'm going to try not to think about it and to enjoy the holidays.

Snuggly yes l see what you mean it is a different scenario to the younger pupils . l really hope that everyone will be understanding of each other & sensible when you go back Flowers

lifelongfrugaleer · 31/07/2020 20:32

Nice photos Mrs.
How was the park em

Scorching today. Last day off for 2 weeks

£4 ice cream today. £15 holiday club,

Bornlazy · 31/07/2020 21:18

Nsd day today thankfully. I need to start proper meal planning again and try and reign in the shopping spends.

Wolf that's a shame you wont get to go out. Its almost impossible to plan ahead right now it's all so unpredictable.

Snuggly my ds is due back to school on the 12/8. He is 15 and I've no idea how they will social distance. I suspect they wont. I've yet to see a group of teenagers who do. You'll have a good few weeks of Scottish schools being back before you need to so maybe you'll be reassured or it will all be cancelled if it turns out to be a disaster

SnugglySnerd · 31/07/2020 21:44

That thought had crossed my mind Born!

ememem84 · 31/07/2020 22:18

Evening!

Park was lovely. Dcs were superbly well behaved. Breakfast picnic was fun. I took bubbles for all the kids so that was nice. Watching them play.
Playground was super fun too. Ds has so so much confidence now. Love him. Dd loves the swings.

Fab ice lollies all round for morning snack (except Dd who had a mini milk) £7 something.

Then We went to dparents for lunch so we could stay out of dh’s way while he worked on the garden. Lunch outside some running about in the garden and the. Home for naps.

Dinner and a walk and bike ride with dh and the dc before bed.
