Holy shit Unescorted that is a lot of money

Unescorted · 13/07/2020 18:07

Aye it is.... quite frightening really.

LonelyOversharer · 13/07/2020 18:17

What is that unescorted is that what it all costs? Projected debt or what you have to pay. I'm going to be so crap at sorting this out and I've got less than a year before we go through this with dd1.

Dp bloody went and Dr. Googled. We all know why protein in bloods needs investigating... He had to go and google it though. He's sleeping just now. Whatever is going on I think we are going to find out very quickly. He had a serious brain injury 20+ years ago, and I've always wondered if more damage was done then.

Picked up the girls and managed not to spend any more money, but the tank of fuel is almost gone as I've done so much running around in the last week.

Unescorted · 13/07/2020 18:52

Fees, accommodation and expected food costs - she will have art materials on top of that, but the colleges are good with bursaries.

Dr Google should be banned.

Girliefriendlikespuppies · 13/07/2020 19:10

Can you talk to your sister em? Or a friend? Your mum doesn't sound like the best person to go to for support sadly.

Long work day today, tired now.

Evening everyone 😀
Been to Monmouth today, Dd1 did Mum & Bob she's a darling 😇👼
Life hope the weather improves for your camping, it's been raining all day here today 😬
North glad your DC are happy am sure your Mum loved spending time with your Dd 🤗

Mummy your pics were beautiful thank you for sharing the children with us 🤗💐
Sea great relief re the holiday refund 😁
Em When l talk to my Bff or my Mum you get it all off your chest and it helps to offload, you want empathy and understanding. Sometimes all we need is a good old vent to our family and mates to get it all off our chest , bless you sweetheart l so hope you and DH are ok very soon 💐
Unescorted both my Dad's have massive student debt but like Martin Lewis tells us , it's highly unlikely they will have to pay a penny unless they get amazing jobs .
Lonely hope it's very good news for your DH health 💐
Wolf l dunno how you managed to get your ex to counselling , lme it's very hard to get them to go 😡😤😬
Lane good progress being made by the sound 🤗
Life hope yours is feeling in a better way now 💐
Girlie have a chill this evening 💐 cuddle up with your lovely dog 🐕🐩🐶🐾 nice cuppa , bath 🤗

Mrsmadevans · 13/07/2020 19:17

Forgot my spends
Lidl 29 which included a shoe rack for 15 for Dd2 from the aisle of wonderous tatt 😂
M&S ,12 for a few bits for Dd2 birthday in August 🤗

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/07/2020 21:07

I have no idea what high blood protein means but I hope it's not bad news lonely in the long run. Hugs from me too.

Em you need to be happy. Everyone will have an opinion about this but the DC will be fine. Children are very resilient. They thrive better in happy homes even if it's more than one.

Hope the stair lift helps lane.

Girlie did you seek advice for DD. Hope she's still not in a food dip. Sorry probably saying that all wrong but I hope ykwim

Nsd today

How much!!! Uni fees

Wolfcub · 13/07/2020 21:12

Starting to feel like I should have started saving for uni for ds whilst I was still there myself. Maybe he'd like to be a plumber instead

Mrs I'm a redhead, when I am angry or determined I am a force of nature! Resistance would have resulted in bags packed and arse on doorstep before dawn

Mrsmadevans · 13/07/2020 22:55

Wolf by name and nature then Grin good for you ! [star}

northender · 13/07/2020 23:09

There is something to be said then for ds living at home if he does go to uni.
Em sorry you're having a hard time again. I think many wise words have already been spoken so I can't add anything.

xmummy2princesx · 13/07/2020 23:45

NSD here rainy 2day so just stayed in!

Fingers crossed ur dp is okay lonely

em I’m sorry ur dh is being shit and ur mum isn’t supportive. I came from a family whose parents divorced and I can honestly say I was happier when they left eachother cuz my mum seemed happier.

Thank u mrs i luv showing them off Grin

SnugglySnerd · 14/07/2020 07:56

I wrote a long post yesterday tea time, mainly to Em and it seems to have disappeared. Strange.

Shock at uni fees! It's occurred to me the dts will both go at the same time (if they want to of course), eek!

ememem84 · 14/07/2020 10:21

to be fair i'm not at all surprised by uni fees. Mine were extortionate. especially given that I was classed as an international student.

in 2006 it was at least £12k a year for me.

xmummy2princesx · 14/07/2020 16:55

I didn’t go 2 uni but I can’t believe the fees!

Spent £10 2day giving dsf money 4 petrol. We went 2 the beach with DM and the boys and then my dad was there as a surprise wiv dsm and dsis. Was luvly. We socially distanced but was so nice 2 c every1 so happy that my parents can get on even tho they’re divorced 4 the boys sake. Have attatched pic of the kids it was Sullivan’s first time at the beach and he didn’t come out of his carrier😂

hippoherostandinghere · 14/07/2020 18:46

Hi I

Unescorted · 14/07/2020 18:58

There are some very cute kids on this thread.

I am hoping that the exhibition in the Turbine Hall at the Tate will pay for the uni fees. As a side line she is doing a video installation of Mummmieeee roller skating in the Turbine. The sound track will be interesting.

ememem84 · 14/07/2020 21:38

Things have been ok with dh today. He went out last night Paddleboarding with a friend and that seemed to help him. He was a bit subdued today but Dd kept us up a lot last night.

He left to go to the gym at 330 gym for an hour or so and picked the kiddos up from and came back for around 6. Cooked dinner and then bath and bed for kiddos. Dinner for us. Korean chicken rice salad bowl. So yum. And superbly insta-friendly food! Looked amazing. No pics because I scoffed it.

I went for a run while he was at the gym.

Seemingly we’re better when we’ve a) been outside and b) had some space from each other. So more of that I think.

mummy cuties!! Sullivan is such an awesome name!
