Ah it's been said before but it's true sleep deprivation is the worst.
Take it easy today peeps.

Chaos here today. Old bed and 3 mattresses out. Same back in. Probably a tip run. Will arrange council to collect beds £17.17 on Thursday.
Aldi and Iceland needed after church.

WreckTangled · 20/01/2019 07:13

I'm going spinning then need to pop into Tesco. Ds has requested some part baked baguettes(!) and I need to replace the chocolate I bought because dh thinks I said I would share it with him (I never did!).

I also have a chilblain on my little toe and it's driving me mad, also so painful when wearing shoes 😭

Sorry to hear about the non sleeping babies. Give it a few years and you'll be dragging them out of bed Grin

SnugglySnerd · 20/01/2019 08:07

Wreck I have my revenge all planned when they are teenagers. It involves an air horn Grin

Happierwithouthim · 20/01/2019 08:12

Yesterday's spends €1.80 on newspaper, au pair got it for me, I was having a pj day!
Today's spends will be €20 on gift card for a birthday party & grocery shop.

Ds just woke me up shouting because his hot water bottle is out of hot water, he's gone silent now and I'm awake Angry

WreckTangled · 20/01/2019 08:12

When dd was about 3 she cake into our room naked singing about fish fingers at 6am. I'm planning to do the same Grin

Happierwithouthim · 20/01/2019 08:54

Girlie saw this and thought of you

Morning lovely frugal folk hope you all have a good Sunday with naps for those who are tired

Wreck you need some snowfire ointment for the chilblain. Bloody painful things

Ds’s activity has a late start this morning which is good and I will see if we have time for home made bacon sandwiches first. I don’t appear to be hungover which is also good but I did have some very odd dreams.

Cag and Sneaky you are both Missing in action, I hope you are both ok

WreckTangled · 20/01/2019 09:23

Wolf I thought that had been discontinued? Will have a look. I suffer really badly with them on my feet, had one on the ball of my foot last month

Wolfcub · 20/01/2019 09:51

Ah it may have been Wreck it’s a while since I’ve bought any new

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 20/01/2019 09:55

Morning everyone

Sorry to hear about all the sleep deprivation, I remember those years well

Thanks happier I'm definitely going to look into it maybe the may half term. Flights to Dublin for dd and I are only about £74 and there seems to be lots of airbnb accommodation around £40 a night, will think on it.

I'm slowly waking up here, got quite a bit to do today and can't really be arsed with any of it 😁

lifelongfrugaleer · 20/01/2019 12:41

£1.50 church, £68 Aldi,£33 Iceland, £36 Sainsbury's.
Beds out delivery on way.

northender · 20/01/2019 14:53

Had a lazy lie in this morning.
Last night at dparents was lovely & no cost. Mum and dd had made the food & then we played cards which was good fun
Have done more sorting today, been grocery shopping £56 at Booths (was £60, used a £4 voucher).
Meal plan for the week:
Today fish pie for us & spare rib chop for dh
Mon Beef casserole
Tues Jacket spuds
Wed stir fry
Thurs Salmon for us, the other spare rib chop for dh
Fri HM pizza
Soups/salad/jacket spud for lunches
We have everything we need & will stick to it!

SnugglySnerd · 20/01/2019 15:22

Grin Wreck.

I'm still grumpy and feel like we've wasted the day. We haven't even enjoyed lazing we've all been fed up!

Cagliostro · 20/01/2019 15:41

Hey lovelies just saying hi. Kind of treading water for the moment physically and mentally. Although it feels more like treading treacle :o

Hope all ok xxx

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 20/01/2019 15:43

We've been quite productive, been to aldi and got loads for £27 so happy with that, also got petrol £30. Will go over drawn but food and petrol are fairly essential!

We've been catching up a bit at home, dd sorted out her hamster and then hoovered the house 😇

I stripped the beds, did a load of washing and have been out tidying the garden. Lots of bulbs coming through which makes me happy 😊

Have stopped for a bit now, still need to do my application and dd has maths homework 😕

Wolfcub · 20/01/2019 15:57

Woo I’ve finished My first crochet project in ages. Currently blocking and smelling slightly of wet sheep

WreckTangled · 20/01/2019 16:02

I've dusted, hoovered and mopped the kitchen floor. Also managed a quick 20 minutes snooze Grin

Managed to get some snowfire almost £5 could have got it cheaper but wanted it delivered tomorrow.

Frittata for dinner.

Unescorted · 20/01/2019 17:10

Cag I was thinking of you the other day. Hope your Dh is getting some respite & you are OK too.

Wolf I so need to do some crafty things. I seem to have got into to a stagnation time. I have everything to make my wax wraps, but keep forgetting to put the fabric in the wash. It seems a waste to run the washer just for 3 fat quarters.

My motto is to let sleeping teenagers lie. Mine are foul if woken up before they are ready. I am enjoying the peace of my mornings.

Wreck do feel free to come round here and do the same.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 20/01/2019 17:18

Hello cag was also thinking of you today, hope you're okay 😙

I've impressed myself by making a veggie chicken pie, it's really delicious! Dd hasn't tried it yet though. .... 😐

Unescorted · 20/01/2019 19:42

girlie Hhahahah! I am being a bit dim - it has taken me ages to workout how you could get a veggie chicken pie. Hope your DD likes it!

Wolfcub · 20/01/2019 19:43

I still haven’t worked the veggie chicken pie out

Lovemaltesers · 20/01/2019 19:47

Waves to cag, hope you are ok Thanks

NSD by me but DP spent £40 in Tesco, and then he paid the balance of our CP holiday at Easter. £600ish I think.

DD2 got up at 5am, DD1 is just generally overtired at the moment. So tired all round here today.

It's quiet on here at the moment.

Frugal thing today- we froze all the food items that were dated today/tomorrow rather than binning them later in the week. Freezer is full- need to do a list and work through it.

lifelongfrugaleer · 20/01/2019 19:49

I haven't got it either wolf.
New mattresses delivered, new bed put up. Old stuff out. Huge pile for tip, chazza and properly storage

WreckTangled · 20/01/2019 19:54

Is it not vegetable and chicken pie? 🤔

I'm feeling pretty tired. Might go to sleep. Had to pay £10 for DD's choir at school the other day and need to pay another £10 for their trip next month. They already had one trip last week but luckily the PTA paid for it. Ds will have a trip this term too but not sure how much it'll be. Dd is going to the Roman palace and ds to a castle.

Only four weeks until half term. We have some kind of club every day after school apart from fridays 😴

Unescorted · 20/01/2019 19:59

Wreck that is what I think it is ... after thinking about it for a while.
