That's great! Thank you ladies for the info. DSs nursery are so flexible so I bet they'd be happy with 20 hours.

Unfortunately one of the interviews has been revoked. I was gutted at first but my DH reminded me I've been fretting all weekend on how i wouldn't fit in with the business at all (bunch of professional old men). I'd be the only woman and the youngest by about 30 years. And they refused part time and expected me to work 8-6 everyday. I can't put my family through that.

northender · 25/09/2017 10:36

Gorgeous picture Em
snuggly hope your dd feels better soon, I agree completely with need about CBeebies, it was my saviour very often too!
Just done a 5k jog in the rain, pleased to have done it, if a little damp now. Doing a class tonight too. Busy day today, going to travel agent to plan next years holiday, need to start making advent calendar for dnephew, making cheese scones to take in to work for colleague's 60th birthday lunch. Ironing & vacuuming done already. Should be low spend day. If I get time I'll look into matched betting.
Have a good day everyone.

Loveabaconsandwich · 25/09/2017 13:17

Mmmm free lunch at my conference and it was edible with lemon tart for pudding Cake. Also charged all my electronics on the train, that will save like 10p of electricity

Taytocrisps · 25/09/2017 13:18

I'm eating Vienetta for lunch so I don't feel so bad about throwing out freezer food. My neighbour took a lot of it.

ememem84 · 25/09/2017 13:30

Just to indulge you all further. We are absolutely in love with him. Unbelievably in love with him. He seems fairly chill at present.

SnugglySnerd · 25/09/2017 13:31

I love Vienetta! I might get some ice cream later. Just for DD of course to help her feel better...

SunnyLikeThursday · 25/09/2017 13:39

Thanks cag and Christmas. Ds had sore tummy at lunchtime, but perked up and went back to school. Fingers crossed here.

Snuggly I'm sorry to hear your dd is not well. You do so well on so little sleep. Take care there.

Em are you in the hospital still? I was out escaped fairly swiftly after my very swift birth but maybe you are in for longer? Lovely photos.

FuzzyCustard · 25/09/2017 13:45

WOW Em what a corker! Well done.

Cagliostro · 25/09/2017 13:45

Oh em 😍😍😍 he is just absolute perfection!!! Actually making me broody now 😊😊😊

LonelyOversharer · 25/09/2017 13:46

Oh em thanks for the photos! Have you taken your eyes off him yet? I bet he smells intoxicating.

Not done much yet today.

Fluffycloudland77 · 25/09/2017 15:00

Bloody hell North you are hard core. I'm still trying to get going to return dhs jammies.

£1.20 dough balls & Tesco smart price tea. Tea tastes fine so I'll buy 1000 bags to last the winter. That'll be £5.

Sole trader refund coming for £35, I paid £38 with p&p so if their trying to get out of the £3 then that's against distance selling regulations & I'll be complaining to the CEO.

Cagliostro · 25/09/2017 15:04

£28 lunch. Absolutely, totally needed that. DH and I decluttered all morning with a bit of help from the Caglets deciding what toys to get rid of etc. Then we needed to go out to collect parcels so we went to wetherspoons :o

Feel much better having got out of the house with my family. And we did achieve a fair bit this morning despite the day starting with more pathetic sobbing Blush (seeing midwife to discuss all this tomorrow).

Just on hold waiting to book my flu jab and then we will get some more decluttering done hopefully.

WreckTangled · 25/09/2017 15:18

Em you are not helping with my broodiness!!

Nsd

lifelongfrugaleer · 25/09/2017 16:01

It's not pathetic cag.

Ah em, lush.

northender · 25/09/2017 16:08

Haha fluffy I'm pleased with what I've got done today but am fading fast and I still need to meal plan! I'm trying to up my exercise a bit as I have been stuck at the same weight for a little while (holidays, general stress and busyness). I've still got at least another 2-3 stone to lose so have to keep going.

needastrongone · 25/09/2017 16:45

North I think that your attitude shows that you'll do it. I sometimes read the 'diet' threads, there's a lot of halfhearted efforts there to be blunt. You and Mammy seem to have the right mind set.

Em He's stunning. I love his head of dark hair. I'm not broody though, not in the least!

I've got to admit that I'm slightly stressed at the minute. Chasing my tail a bit here. Off to St Andrews tomorrow with DS tomorrow, and trying to fit in all my work and training around that. Just making meals for DD and DH for the next 2 days. They are perfectly capable of making their own but DH will go down the easy food route and I'm a control freak Grin

£4 so LSD today.

needastrongone · 25/09/2017 16:52

Roasted butternut squash, garlic and sweet potato soup for tea, with reduced priced bread. Squash was reduced too, will feed all four of us very cheaply.

SnugglySnerd · 25/09/2017 16:56

That soup sounds delicious Need. I might do that at the weekend.

Awww Em look at his tiny ickle fingers. Hope you are feeling OK after the birth.

NSD. Haven't actually left the house all day.

100yearsdotcom · 25/09/2017 17:09

em congratulations! So pleased for you xxx

Will now read back and catch up properly as have been too busy to pop on all weekend.

needastrongone · 25/09/2017 17:12

Roasting all the veg and garlic makes a massive difference snuggly, a little diced chorizo fried off and sprinkled on top makes it even more lushSmile

WreckTangled · 25/09/2017 17:16

Changed chicken wraps for quesadillas as it's quite cold I wanted something hot.

Loveabaconsandwich · 25/09/2017 17:33

Urrrggh only another three hours to go on the train. I’ve told DP if I ever have to do this trip again I need to book way in advance to upgrade to 1st class. Feeling really penned in today, which considering I do two hours a day on the train two or three times a week is a bit odd. Verging on claustrophobic

Cagliostro · 25/09/2017 17:35

Oh no love hope you are feeling ok now. It's not nice feeling stuck like that Thanks

mammymammyIRL · 25/09/2017 17:52

Thanks need for those kind words. I had a wobble yesterday when I looked back on a spreadsheet which showed I was this exact weight two years ago Sad it didn't affect my eating yesterday though, I think being unable to exercise all week didn't help me at all. I want to go to bootcamp tomo but my head is telling me I'm not well enough.

mammymammyIRL · 25/09/2017 17:54

Love did you learn about matched betting this morning?
