Oh that's awful girlie dd.

lifelongfrugaleer · 23/09/2017 16:12

£25 in b&m on sweets for birthday.
Got to be some advantages to being hugely preggo em.

WreckTangled · 23/09/2017 16:20

Em I went in the men's loo once when v pregnant at the beach. No queue at all whereas the women's was soooo long. They didn't mind at all!

ememem84 · 23/09/2017 16:28

I did that too the other day wreck

And broke the "buy something to use the toilet" rule in a cafe. #rebel

SnugglySnerd · 23/09/2017 16:31

I feel really sick and wobbly today. Having a sit down.

Girlie that's rubbish for your DD. I'm sure she'll find her crowd. I used to be head of yr 7 and it us the worst year for friendship issues. They sort themselves out eventually.

Sunny silly question but can girls do Beavers? It sounds great!

lifelongfrugaleer · 23/09/2017 16:42

Oh dear snuggly. Take care. It's not a stupid question as the guide movement is still exclusively girls. Yes they can is the answer

SnugglySnerd · 23/09/2017 16:52

Thanks Life. DD is still a bit young but I think she'd enjoy Beavers or Brownies when she's a bit bigger.

CollieBobs · 23/09/2017 18:16

girlie that's awful for DD. Hope she's ok :( I remember being on my lonesome for a big part of year 7. I was separated from my friends from primary school and I found it hard to make friends with the other girls simply because they all had blonde hair. Out of 15 or so girls I was the only brunette. And I was shorter. Luckily I had loads of friends who were boys. They were so distracting though. Blush

Failed at our NSWeekend. Spent £4 in a farm shop on micro brewery ale. All DHs fault. LTB Wink

How did match betting go wreck?

WreckTangled · 23/09/2017 18:17

Collie it went ok it was just my bet to get the free bet. It went how it should have gone!

mammymammyIRL · 23/09/2017 18:17

Saw this & thought of em

Still frugaleering into Autumn.....
ememem84 · 23/09/2017 18:27

mammy 😂😂😂😂 haha. Yep. That's exactly how I want it to be. It's nothing like that though.

I've had a nap. 😀 Dh is making something with fish for dinner. Mm.

SunnyLikeThursday · 23/09/2017 18:29

Snuggly yes girls can do either the Scouts of the Guides but I would very much encourage you to look specifically at the badge requirements of both before deciding which. The badges are effectively a teaching curriculum that the leaders work through with kids from 6 right through to 25 and the ethos of the two movements is slightly different, so it would be well worth checking in advance.

Both Scouts and Guides would have all the good things that I mentioned before. Scouts more rough and tumble, Guides less so. Although my Brownie patrol was once sent out into a field in the dark to wrestle a scout to the ground and bring him back.

The badges for beavers and scouts and whathaveyou are here:
members.scouts.org.uk/supportresources/search/?cat=7,64,779

Guide badges:
guides.girlguiding.org.uk/gfibadge/badges/index.html

Scouts and Guides are the same ages so the differences should be clear from looking at those two sets.

Its been a fab day here , Ive cleaned out the greenhouse (bye bye tomato plants Sad but we had/still have loads, and done other garden jobs..outside in shorts and vest top its been so warm

DH is on dinner duties..

I have Wine didnt I say I was giving up?

The only really annoying thing is that I cut my thumb (only a knife cut so clean and not deep ..but am a wimp) and the scab on my back from the mole removal last week is REALLY itching.. ( but then that means its getting better ..) I have cut my fingernails short so I dont tear it off in my sleep.

I bought a necklace on ebay. .Hultquist .£18 but is worth at least double that..

DS bought a (large) fish .. he hasnt told me how much that was but looking at it I reckon around £15-20 Shock but it will be yummy im sure.

Looking forward to some Scandi crime on TV this eve.. We taped Black Lake last week and havent watched it yet..

We're succumbing to retail therapy here. Dh has has about 15 hours of interviews and has another 12+ to go in his job hunt, with several of them in the US. We went and bought him a nice suitcase in John Lewis today to encourage him on. I bought a bunch of minecraft books off amazon to keep ds entertained.

SnugglySnerd · 23/09/2017 19:06

That's really helpful info and advice Sunny, thank you.

Just settling down for Strictly. Hooray! DH is making dinner out of Jamie's 15 mins book. He just said it'll be about 45 mins!!!

Pinkpeppermintteaforme · 23/09/2017 19:29

Laska
Dont watch Black Lake on your own !
So happy Strictly is back Smile

ememem84 · 23/09/2017 19:31

snuggly snaps. We're watching strictly too. Catface is enjoying it.

Dh made: Thai spiced haddock on a salad of red cabbage, butternut squash and sweetcorn. Rainbow dinner.

We have an "in" joke today - dh's legs are sort from the gym/crossfit/cycling to work all week. He should probably rest up in his "condition" haha!!

thewaitresses · 23/09/2017 19:36

Double snaps! (Du du dud du dud dud da!!)

NSD today!

Fluffycloudland77 · 23/09/2017 19:37

Laska Got any tea tree oil? It's really good at numbing pain from cuts.

Cagliostro · 23/09/2017 19:39

Totally forgot about strictly! we are watching a DVD, maybe we will watch on iplayer with DH tomorrow. Looking forward to the Caglets going to sleep as then I can too.

Utterly foul mood today, grumpy, achy, dizzy, anxious, hungry! I was really hoping to enjoy a nice day lounging but I feel worse TBH.

ememem84 · 23/09/2017 19:41

Glitterball 🕺🏻💃

WreckTangled · 23/09/2017 19:43

Ffs you guys I'm feeling soooooo broody again.

lifelongfrugaleer · 23/09/2017 19:48

That cupboard is well organised. I'm impressed.
Started watching strictly but decided to get ahead on ds party going home present. All 20 sweet bags wrapped.

Cagliostro · 23/09/2017 20:22

Wreck right now you'd be more than welcome to have the baby for me if you want Blush :o
