Nice day in the garden followed by roast - cooked by DH so that's always a bonus! 5 minutes after finishing roast and pudding DD announces 'I'm hungry' Angry this is happening increasingly often - I thought only teenagers did this?

Snuggly I get it, I really, really get it and it's the thing I've struggled with the most x

WreckTangled · 01/05/2017 19:37

How old is she waitress?

Need I'm sorry about dpony

I've got corporate induction in Brighton tomorrow. I can just wear normal clothes can't I?

CremeEggThief · 01/05/2017 19:39

Need❤.

northender · 01/05/2017 20:30

need sorry to hear about the pony. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.
Lonely I do that pie each Christmas using leftovers (probably a variation anyway). It's delicious and I always use shop bought puff pastry.

allthebestplease · 01/05/2017 20:49

"Need" sorry about pony.
Tell us what to put on for match betting and I'll be in.

It's all kicking off over the road, parents shouting at grown up kids & cars speeding off down the road. Imagine shameless but they all have really nice highlights & drive BMW/audis but really it's a façade of respectability.

Thanks for link. Fluffy, video it and film may go viralGrin

Fluffycloudland77 · 01/05/2017 21:07

We tried listening in using dhs shooting noise cancelling headphones but they went inside. The meanies.

thewaitresses · 01/05/2017 21:40

She's 5 wreck! Usually if she's hungry before bed I offer milk/toast/banana but today I was exasperated as it was so close to dinner time. She doesn't eat masses but not a tiny portion by any means. Anyway I was a mean mum and said if she was really hungry then I could prepare another portion of roast dinner. Surprisingly she made do with a drink Hmm!

Coppersulphate · 01/05/2017 21:41

Oh Need, so sorry about DPony. Is there any chance he'll be ok? 💐💐
Fluffy, I would love to try and make some money match betting but I would be useless at it.
Snuggly....you are doing brilliantly but it won't seem like that to you. 3 lots of nappies would get anyone down. But you have a lovely DD and beautiful twins. And it could be worse. Aren't you a teacher? You could be back at school!
NSD here as not been out if the house. Trying to do bits of work to make a bit of money towards greenhouse and the holiday we've booked. Marking professional exams today. All day. Still they pay (badly).

ememem84 · 01/05/2017 22:13

need haha ah an "accident" at urban decay. I haven't had one of those for a while!

Sorry to hear about dpony.

Xx

This is my scary hissing feral catface. She's my big brave girl. She's been here with us for 7 months now. So much change. We were watching tv before and she hopped up into my lap. And snuggled in. I may have had a bit of a cry bloody hormonal woman

LonelyOversharer · 01/05/2017 22:55

Oh need my fingers are crossed for you, dd and dpony.

Have started the little chicken coop, we need Chris out of the big coop asap. Two of her eggs were broken today (they were viable Sad) we think her daughter is also broody and was trying to get on the eggs. So sad.

Turkey pie is amazing! Dd3 and I drink the gravy like soup! I only ever use bought puff pastry, lidl's one is good and puffs up much more than others. I put in a handful of chopped up dried cranberries, as it lifts the flavour. We have a turkey leg often. £4.50 from morissons, slow cooked, it does us a roast and a pie, so super value.

Am sitting in with ds, he has only just gone to sleep, and it's school tomorrow. I have my filling in the morning, am looking forward to it, as my tooth has been sore for ages.

Cagliostro · 01/05/2017 22:56

Oh no need :( will be thinking of you and DPony, I really hope the vet can help xx

ChristmasSeacow · 01/05/2017 23:56

Hello, I am still here but it's been a busy weekend, Ive been reading but not really had time to post.

After all that uncertainty I start my project role tomorrow (!) so will be getting us all out of the house and commuting early doors tomorrow, for the first time in months. I should have been asleep a couple of hours ago! Not terribly excited at getting into this at 32 weeks pregnant but it will be financially worthwhile, so gritting my teeth.

Can't really catch up properly now but just wanted to send Flowers to Need and DD for DPony. I knew he was off colour but didn't realise it might be so serious Sad. Fingers crossed he rallies round.

(And thanks for missing me!)

Snuggly I will be in the same boat soon so I sympathise, reallly! I said to DH that I will no doubt have a 15 nappy day at some stage (with 2 of them!) and on that day he should expect to find a wrecked wife on his return and a tin of soup for dinner. He would defo rather be at work! Some days are uphill but there are good days too. The no holiday thing is definitely hard though, same for us. But there's summer in the garden to look forward to and DH will have a bit of time off even though we can't go away. That'll be as good as a holiday for me! It is tough but from what I remember it gets that little bit better week by week. Hang on in.

Right, must sleep. Even though I am a little worried about our unrehearsed morning logistics!

WreckTangled · 02/05/2017 07:02

The train I was going to get is cancelled Angry can get the next one but it's still bloody annoying. Southern rail suck.

Loveabaconsandwich · 02/05/2017 09:04

Flowers need

Good luck seacow

snuggly it will get better Brew

wreck sympathy for the train issues. Most train companies if you are delayed over an hour you can claim compensation. A bit of a faff but you should be able to do it online, but for me it is the principle of claiming the few £s back for rubbish service

SunnyLikeThursday · 02/05/2017 09:24

Snuggly I know just what you mean. I've been in this tunnel for a long time. I managed a lot of it by shamelessly spending Tesco boost vouchers on lego, and skyping the grandparents a lot. It's tricky though. I used to sometimes put the grandparents on speakerphone with ds laying on the floor next to the phone and he would enjoy listening while I had a proper chat. It is a tough phase though. Hang in there.

MeadowHay · 02/05/2017 11:04

Hello. Spent most of yesterday laying down in awful pain from really bad acid reflux Sad. It seems quite a lot better so far today which is just as well as I'm going back to work this afternoon. Sore but manageable at present.

No spends yesterday as a result and today shouldn't really be an NSD as our house is practically bare, got no bread and very little milk etc but not sure I'll make it out to the shops before work and things given my tummy Confused. Feeling quite down and stressed as need to be revising but managed hardly any yesterday given I couldn't even sit up for more than about five minutes at a time. Confused Sad.

Need I really hope DPony is ok. Flowers

Seacow Good luck with your new job thing.

Fluffy That drama reminds me of one time I was at DH's mum's house years ago, and there was a proper huge argument going on in the street outside the house opposite, two lads having a huge argument over a woman and then one of them came out with a huge plank of wood and whacked the other one with it Shock. Police came and arrested them both and was questioning the woman too. It was like something off telly.

LonelyOversharer · 02/05/2017 12:44

Dentist done. New filling, and he fixed my canine which I chipped a while ago. I shamelessly love my dentist! Have been seeing him for 20 years (twice a year) and we'll not mention the time I had to bf dd2 while having a filling

Have done a big shop, £55 aldi (full trolley) £17 tesco (1 bag), £10 chicken food, and £22 in my favourite garden centre on sweet peas, a clematis (that I really didn't need), and slug pellets for my greenhouse. This is the downside to the dentist, it's in the town I used to live in and I can't resist my old haunt shops.

All the money went in today, tax credits too, so I guess it was the bank holiday holding things up. At least I don't need to panic about it now, as I have clawed back my overdraft - but its not a solution long term.

SunnyLikeThursday · 02/05/2017 13:03

lonely your dentist sounds fab.I had similar bf experiences, though never in the dentist. Your guy sounds like on in a million.

Loveabaconsandwich · 02/05/2017 13:39

Well, this morning was spendy. Painful 30 mins with the hygienist. Then paid £98 per session for two further sessions. My gums are in such a state she will numb my mouth next time and do half my mouth at a time Sad. That was my money for our savings account this month all gone Angry

This month needs to be frugal!

I also need to spend my Amazon vouchers which I got as a reward from work on an electric toothbrush.

On the plus side just got two £10 gift vouchers in the post from doing online surveys.

Little DD is on the third day of a nap strike. My house is a state!

Coppersulphate · 02/05/2017 14:28

Loving the cat pics. They are cheering me up.
Love, my house is also in a terrible mess and I live on my own, so no excuses.
Sunny, I do exactly the same with Tesco vouchers for my DGCs. Lego must surely win some award for being the best toy ever.
Meadow, sorry to hear your're having a terrible time. Hope you feel better soon.

MeadowHay · 02/05/2017 16:12

Well my stomach pain got progressively worse throughout the afternoon, it's really awful in any position other than laying down or slightly propped-up, I did my makeup in that position to go to work. Walked towards work for about three or four minutes before the pain was so bad I was struggling to walk upright so turned back home and then threw up outside our block of flats. Just emailed my manager to apologise and let him know. He's really nice but it's just really bad timing because not only am I meant to be at work I can't study for my exams or anything just lay down! It's really affecting my mood Sad. I don't know if it's an infection or just a really bad flare-up of my reflux. Have asked my dad if I should see GP tomorrow if it's still this bad (he is a doctor himself).

Sorry for moaning.

Spent about £80 on a grocery shop from Asda online which will come tomorrow evening. Massive shop but as we've been away a lot recently there's hardly anything in.

Loveabaconsandwich · 02/05/2017 16:17

Take it easy meadow and feel better soon Flowers

WreckTangled · 02/05/2017 16:41

Finally finished. Longest day ever! Still need to get a bus to the station and then two trains back to my mums then a 25 minute drive home!

Meadow I definitely think you should see a GP sounds horrible!
