Very impressive running Need. I am suitably intimidated
And well done Em and good news on the hot water.
Wreck that floor
they definitely need to fix it. Talk about not quitting while you're behind, so many tears!
Ipso I agree you should be able to have a female doctor. In a hospital setting, if male doctors do such examinations they usually have a chaperone in the room (for their own protection as much as patients') so it is much more efficient if a woman does it! Your gp surgery sounds quite strange not to accommodate.
Life I have been in the same position after having DS. When he was about 2 I could actually feel that I had a prolapse (won't go into detail!) and gp confirmed it. However they said that while they could refer me to a gynaecologist they wouldn't actually do anything about it yet since I wanted another child. They apparently only offer surgical fixes once families are complete, which I can see is reasonable. I'd like to avoid surgery if possible but think mine might be beyond exercises. I am interested in this pulse thingy though. Probably can't do anything while pregnant and since the situation is much worse in the meantime I shall stick to the Tena ladies . Wish baby would turn over, her feet are currently right above my bladder and she kicks it a lot. Just to add insult to injury.
Paed review for DS was fine, she is making a psych referral for anxiety and OT referral for DS re toileting. Also we are getting some free nappies - 4 per day, which is about half what we use but it's something. And nsd apart from the £10 net for newborn clothes from FB.
Dentist tomorrow - have to confess I broke my tooth a wee while 2years ago and am just getting it looked at now because it is hurting. It happened just as DS's autism and my dad's cancer were diagnosed and frankly I couldn't have cared less about my cracked tooth. Might be expensive as I don't have my maternity exemption certificate through yet. Ouch, on many levels.
