ipsos

If is trousers/jeans you're after the best I've found are primark. £10 and the long length fits me perfectly (I'm 5'10).

Or m&s jeggins.

Mrscog · 18/04/2016 14:30

Result! Spent 65p instead of £1 on my snack.

Cagliostro · 18/04/2016 14:31

Was the printer itself very pricey Fluffy?

My favourite bagel filling is cream cheese, rocket and sweet chilli sauce. I had it pretty much every work day when I was pregnant :o

£1.04 on chocolate bar for ds and wine gums for me.

Fluffycloudland77 · 18/04/2016 15:02

£50 or £60 Cag. I was fed up of running out of ink. I'm on my third toner in 6 years.

Cagliostro · 18/04/2016 15:38

Wow that's pretty good. I think we paid more than that for our inkjet!

Off to the library in a minute. Apparently they've set a limit for the number of pages you can print free so need to think of the best ones to print today!

We have a printer that DH no longer needed at work, it is approximately half the size of DS's bedroom and I hate it, but it was free!

Thanks for the congratulations re DD and sympathy re the early 5am start. I'll get used to it after a few days but I'm zonked today.

NSD

I am a big fan of Morrisons fluffy, I have a delivery pass, and top up at Aldi, but often Morrisons is as cheap.

Right, must get moving again.

I am struggling not to indulge to a new cookery book on Amazon, for the hell of it....

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 18/04/2016 17:01

Hi all, never heard of a printer subscription Cag how does that work? I have gone through so many printers and none of them seem to work or last more than a few months. The current one is sat on the desk and hasn't printed anything in over a year!!

A laser printer sounds good Fluffy any chance you could do a link to the one you have?

Fluffycloudland77 · 18/04/2016 17:05

They don't make it anymore. It was just a basic black and white printer from Brother.

babsmam · 18/04/2016 17:20

£39 in Morrison's but some of that was cash back to pay for cubs, fitness and football. £5 in card shop and bandq.

Colliefeatures · 18/04/2016 17:25

I'm looking at getting a wireless printer. It would be so handy to have at home. Drooool!

Ememem84 · 18/04/2016 17:37

Spends today £3.20 on a fake tan applicator mitt.

Having a very frugal pasta frozen veg and cheese dinner. Yum. Dh has swanned off to Switzerland to eat fondue or something.....

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 18/04/2016 17:46

Busy day at work as usual! Really couldn't be bothered to cook tonight so we had fish fingers and beans Blush was nice though!

Nsd so far but need to pop out and pick up a bday card for dds cm, it was her 60th birthday over the wend. Don't think I am feeling 100% aching all over (although that may be because of my foolish attempt to run round the park run with dd!) and feel very tired. Hopefully just need an early night.

I think I might just give up on printers, can print stuff out at work as needed or my use my mums!

WreckTangled · 18/04/2016 17:59

Jackets and beans for dinner

I love having a wireless printer.

We've received a letter today back from Barclays (re the packaged bank account) saying we will have a decision by 9th may. Also have to fill in a questionnaire and return to them.

IdStillRatherBeKnitting · 18/04/2016 18:00

We use a wireless hp printer at the shop, I buy a set of ink thingies about every 3 months, and we print out a lot of colour stuff. On the second one in 5 years, so not bad going.

Will definately try some morrisons value stuff. It seems I'm a sucker for pretty packaging!

Spends, £6.60 posting my little nephews birthday pressie,
£7.80 in the coop, milk, garlic, loo roll and two packs of super reduced raspberries. Put one in the freezer, and the other into dd3.

Stuck to meal plan (left over chicken risotto with crispy bacon and garlic bread), and made rolls for dc's tea tomorrow. The sun is finally out here.

Fluffycloudland77 · 18/04/2016 18:41

I think we all are knitting. I don't tell dh when I change something because if I do he swears blind he can tell the difference.

Except if I don't mention it he doesn't notice.

The cleaning products are good too, if you clean regularly you don't need really strong chemicals to clean.

northender · 18/04/2016 19:00

Spendy day today. £200 on cricket kit for ds & dh. My dad is going to pay for ds' which is the majority of it so we'll get £140 back.
On a more positive note, dh had £165 cheque back from HMRC for overpaid tax 2014/15 & should get similar for 15/16 once his P60 is through. For 16/17 it has been included in his tax code. It's to do with mileage he gets paid.
Well done need's dd and pony.
Meal plan
Roast beef for tea today
Kidney bean & carrot burgers with potato wedges: Tues
Hot pot & braised red cabbage: Wed
Jacket potatoes: Thurs
Burgers (at cricket nets): Fri
Chicken curry: Sat

I'm back from my weekend away!!

Had a lovely time, didn't keep too close an eye on what we spent though oops. I'll total it up afterwards and then post.

We did a mix of activities and free things/chilling out. It was lovely. However I'm tired though.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 18/04/2016 19:39

Popped to the vets to pick up some more insulin for big cat, his blood sugars are still high which worries me a bit. The vet said to keep his insulin dose the same though so he obviously thinks they will start coming down eventually!

Spent another £17 in Pets at Home though, £15 was on a big bag of reduced cat biscuits (have gone for some grain free ones in the hope that they might help with the blood sugars) and £2 on hamster food.

Popped into Morrisons and spent £7 on card and gift for cm, also picked up a reduced french stick for 35p!

PurpleRibbons · 18/04/2016 19:42

NSD, good start to the week!!

Colliefeatures · 18/04/2016 20:18

Ive just booked a driving lesson Shock absolutely terrified.

WreckTangled · 18/04/2016 20:23

How exciting collie!! I love driving Smile

Ememem84 · 18/04/2016 20:41

gross out alert!!

I've just done a sinus rinse thing. Warm salt (and bicarb) water has been squirted up my nose. Has swooshed around inside my head and fell out the other nostril. Vom.

But. Seems to have cleared a lot of snottiness from my face.

Have also been to the post office to pick up my parcels.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 18/04/2016 21:12

Well done Collie I am properly pleased to hear that Grin feel the fear and do it anyway etc etc Wink once you get your confidence back you will wonder how you ever coped not being able to drive.

babsmam · 18/04/2016 21:19

Yeah collie, go for it
