Fluffy Envy you have amazing legs!! I think that looks fine together, love the shoes.

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/03/2016 21:09

Thank you Gilrlie, I was bought up to believe I was fat!. I'll try them and see if anyone laughs. Shoeaholics are fab for shoes. I wish their was a clothes version of that site.

I didn't realise what your dh had done either Lilas It's really shitty being a woman at times like this.

What shocked me about a relatives oh cheating all the time was the number of relatives who encouraged her to stay. Even women whose own husbands broke their hearts cheating.

MoneyForNothing · 27/03/2016 22:47

Hi everyone, not sure if I'm in the right place really...if this thread is to encourage people to spend less, then I'm in the right place for sure Smile. I'm a single parent with a ton of debt and next to no income (currently job hunting), so looking for advice on spending as little as possible.

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/03/2016 22:51

You're in the right place. We are all about spending less.

Ememem84 · 27/03/2016 23:00

fluffy yes! Khaki jeans and red shoes!! I wore mine to work a while back (with a White cami and black slouchy cardigan) my shoes were burgundy but same same.

Had a lovely day. Watched "old movies" (the mummy and mummy returns...1999 and 2001....)

Crap weather but really nice to stay in snuggle up and eat chocolate crisps and wine. Happy.

lilacclery · 28/03/2016 01:11

Amazing legs fluffy I'm definitely a pear dd is leggy though.
Ipsos she's almost 6 she shouldn't be aware that men do things like that.

Forgot to bring ds's bottle to my parents, he only has one going to bed after an hour of him crying to go home I substituted with a water bottle with some milk in it! Poor boy.

Spends while from joint account were still shocking socks & undies for ds, tights for dd & a top plus rice, chorizo & two pocket money books €73...

babsmam · 28/03/2016 07:09

Hi money yes it is and we will help where we can. Do you want to talk through your plan. There is a wealth of ideas here.

Not sure if I recorded my spends yesterday. We ended yo at the beach £12 on lunch. Picnic back in the fridge for today. Went to a museum we haven't been before which has a lovely play park but then it started raining so home.

Today, sainsburys top up, swimming£9, maybe a private to an fort weather depending. DC staying at dm tonight until late tomorrow and we are at work.

I'm off the chocolate now as my clothes are starting to pinch who am I kidding they have for weeks and counting down to hols. Going to investigate gym membership £25 a month if I can go early before the changing rooms are filthy.

babsmam · 28/03/2016 07:09

Fluffy you are far from fat in that photo.

WreckTangled · 28/03/2016 07:38

We've got no electricity Sad

Fluffycloudland77 · 28/03/2016 08:13

Oh no! Did it have time to charge the rads last night?. It's snowing here.

My parents have a calor gas heater because their leccy goes off too.

Money Have you told the people you owe that you're currently out of work?. I think they can freeze interest for people in hardship.

There's a mumsnetter in Money Matters called Talkinpeace, she is very good with debt. She's an accountant and really knows her stuff.

She will point you in the right direction if you on there and ask. We can help you with daily expense reduction but she knows the legalities.

WreckTangled · 28/03/2016 08:26

Yes and luckily I had switched the hot water on so I could have a bath.

I phoned up and they've said to phone after midday for an update so it looks like its going no to be off for a while. Luckily we're going out.

needastrongone · 28/03/2016 08:30

Goodness me Fluffy, you have luverly legs, can't believe you were brought up to think you were fat.

Welcome money, there's lots of tips on here. Are you claiming all the support benefits that you are entitled to while you find work?

Lila, no, your daughter should absolutely not have to witness anything like that, and neither should she, at 6, be your support. My DC have seen some stuff that I won't go into on here, and the atmosphere in the house was so tense (even if they didn't witness anything specific) it was one of my drivers actually to change the situation. But no, you daughter is 6, you need to protect her if you can. I am sorry chuck Flowers but Grin re the wine comment.

I am not to rescue the sodden pony.

DH has spent about £200 on the horse box he reckons this weekend on running repairs, paint and new blinds.

I need a few bits today but will post that later.

NSD yesterday.

Sorry wreck, I miss you having no electric, bloody hell!

Ememem84 · 28/03/2016 09:44

Jeeeez wreck what a nightmare

lilac Flowers hope you're ok.

Weather is atrocious here. We've been warned by emergency services not to go out unless it's necessary. So many trees down.
Checked on my car (which is parked under a tree...) and thankfully it's ok.

8FencingWire · 28/03/2016 09:48

NSD here, thanks to the storm, otherwise we would have had a very spendy day, we had to cancel.
We've been really battered.
I'll make some bread and a couple of cakes, see who wants to join us for cake and coffee this pm.

CremeEggThief · 28/03/2016 10:15

I'm a bit disappointed, as nobody wants to go the museum. I've made the most compromises this weekend and had to do the most travelling, and yet again, what I want doesn't happen. Family, eh? Ho, hum...

Cagliostro · 28/03/2016 10:16

Whoever told you that you're fat Fluffy is a, well, [expletive]. I too am Easter Envy at your legs!

NSD yesterday, second Sunday in a row woohoo!

DH is coming home from work. He's not on the system yet and due to Bank Holiday they can't actually sort it out. So an extra day off, yay!

Sorry about the electric Wreck what a pain!

Cagliostro · 28/03/2016 10:17

Can you go by yourself Creme? Make a nice trip of it, enjoy the exhibits and a large coffee and cake in the cafe :)

CremeEggThief · 28/03/2016 10:21

Maybe, Cag. Thank you.Chocolate

Fluffycloudland77 · 28/03/2016 10:48

I'd go alone, sounds ideal to me.

babsmam · 28/03/2016 11:01

Crème I would go by myself.
Wreck sorry you have no leccy.
Stay safe in the storm frugaleers.
Money I second going onto the debt forum too and money saving expert website too.
£86 in fucking sainsburys. £29 clothing refunded.

babsmam · 28/03/2016 11:03

Lilac your daughter sounds a sweetie but 6 is very young, hope you manage to talk to your Mam and it's helpful.

Ememem84 · 28/03/2016 11:16

creme I'd go by myself too. What sort of museum is it? I've totally forgotten where you are (sorry).

A while ago dh and I were in London and he insisted on going to the pub on a Sunday morning to watch rugby. I let him. And went to the British museum. It was brilliant.

Ememem84 · 28/03/2016 11:50

Should be nsd today.

Balances are £149 my Ac. £738 joint ac. £0 cc.

Dh has just made breakfast. A flinglish (full English). Yum. So I'm not going to need to eat probably until dinner.

Cagliostro · 28/03/2016 12:10

Turns out DH doesn't even have to go in early tomorrow, as they're going to wait and see if he's on the system and then call him.

We're trying to balance productivity with relaxation today. DH picked up a few bits in town for little DIY things that need doing. The house is starting to get back towards being a home.

OTOH I had an email about the Hotel Chocolat sale. Oh dear. Blush
