Lost 3lb today so feeling very pleased with myself.

AdoraBell · 19/01/2016 22:46

Well done Audit Star

I've only been to Camden once, when I was living near Islington. Officially Hackney but right on the boundary. My DDs are not happy that I moved out of London and away from "decent" shops Hmm

Thanks everyone, Fluffy we are aiming for the middle of next week. It's Come round bloody quick to be honest. DH is away for work for a few more days and I'm getting through chocolate like it's going out of fashion I plan to use up the fridge/freezer contents if I can and just order ready meals for move day. We're only moving a couple of miles this time so don't need to change school/GP/dentist/vet Grin

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 20/01/2016 06:34

Fluffy which mobile?

I have been looking at Microsoft lumia tesco £7.50/mth 2yr contract

SpottyTeacakes · 20/01/2016 06:37

Fucking rac have taken money for my renewal when I phoned them and cancelled it Angry

Ursulatodd · 20/01/2016 07:02

Just checking in - finding it hard to keep up / log spends this week (building has finished so we have a lot of decorating and finishing off to do). Also finding it hard to diet!!

SpottyTeacakes · 20/01/2016 07:35

-7 here brrr

Ipsos · 20/01/2016 07:42

Ds is reading with me today and says to tell you that he has not spent any money on Bionicles today. Star He says that downside of this is that he currently doesn't have any "protectors". Smile

Won't be an NSD for me today as I just realised I've run out of eggs, apple juice and something else. Ooops.

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/01/2016 07:52

S ring the bank to get it back then email their ceo

east, it's off iD mobiles. It's 4G too. Will link later.

SpottyTeacakes · 20/01/2016 07:53

Fluffy do you think that's better than phoning them direct?

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/01/2016 08:04

Yes they've broken the dd guarantee

lilacclery · 20/01/2016 08:14

Mr T will come this evening with shopping to the value of €105. This is good, budget is €140 per week and I've got a few treats or brand items in this plus I've enough meat in freezer so don't need to visit the butcher at all.
Funny story as to how this came about. Putting ds to bed on Mon eve, dd calls up the stairs 'Tesco are here', I said 'are you sure, I've nothing ordered, call me again if they're really stopping' couple mins later 'yes they're coming in' I come downstairs to find dh has just arrived and talking to the driver, Driver says I've an order for Sharon Surname in a scottish accent, dh is Sean Surname and with the 'language barrier' says 'ya ya that's us' I come out then and says I've nothing ordered from Tesco and deliver guy says ya Sharon Surname, I was like this isn't the first time you've brought me Sharon's shopping and proceeded to give him general directions to her house. She has two children, same gender, same ages as mine so our shopping would be quite similar and obviously our Surname is the same Grin I had planned to go to Aldi but I've to work an extra two evenings this week so took the easy option.

Environfone emailed me my phone has a scratch on the screen they will pay €18.59 instead of €46.34, this is more than I'll get leaving it in the drawer so I've accepted their offer.

Last night's extra work netted me €51.25 after paying extra to au pair, Friday nights work is voluntary.

Top up shop yesterday came from change in my purse as I've come to the conclusion that any big notes after the weekend will go against my credit card, paid €50 against it on Mon eve.

Well done on your loss Audit I was like a bottomless pit yesterday for some reason, all good food consumed but still more than I should

SpottyTeacakes · 20/01/2016 09:05

It wasn't a direct debit it was a card payment but natwest are going to sort it. If I can get through before I have to leave in 15 minutes!

Pointlessfan · 20/01/2016 09:54

That's funny lilac!
Today should be NSD. Yesterday I bought some vastly reduced blueberries as a treat (too expensive normally) so DD and I made muffins this morning.
It's a lovely crisp morning so think we'll wrap up and get out for a walk when Mr Tumble finishes.

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 20/01/2016 09:58

Thanks fluffy

Girlfriend36 · 20/01/2016 10:01

Grin lila thats funny!

I was still sleeping in bed when my Mr Morrisons man rang the bell this morning at 7.30 Blush I keep forgetting when they are coming!

That was £41 which is about right however there were a few things i couldn't get so am going to pop to Lidls later, not going to spend more than a tenner though! Need to sort my passport out as well so will do that today as well.

It was -6 this morning Shock everything looks very white and pretty though, shame it wasn't like this over Christmas as feels Christmassy!!

fuzzpig · 20/01/2016 10:47

Still locked out of online banking as DH can't pick up my card til tonight. Need to catch up on the thread and update my spreadsheet too/post spends.

Ordered the oven last night. Will be a struggle to make room for it but it will make a huge difference - we've been so limited without one and we're really stuck in a rut! I've been busy writing down all the different meals we can make.

Lovetoknit · 20/01/2016 11:50

Well done audit Flowers
Great story Lilac
I will be great to have an oven fuzz you'll be able to make lot of yummy meals
Good luck with the move adora
NSD yesterday
This morning £14 for veg box , they swapped broccoli for curly kale so any child friendly meal ideas would be appreciated; also need to get a school top for little dd at pick up time
Dh did the morning school run but got called in by the agency to work at the dairy factory Smile
I think this time off has been good for him because he finally saw I do lot more at home then just sit at the computer and talk on the phone for work Grin
Cold, windy but sunny too so I have put some washing on the line and the builder is back putting the window in in the attic room Smile

supermariossister · 20/01/2016 11:59

I have had a strange morning trying to convince the rabbit into the carry box. He doesn't like it but the hutch is in kitchen if I open it he will just stay in the kitchen so I can't keep an eye on him chewing wires or otherwise but he won't hop into the living room himself so I thought if I could bring him into the living room he could stay out from the day. It's not going well

SpottyTeacakes · 20/01/2016 12:14

Well £6 in sainsburys on new gloves for dd and some stuff for lunch

£15 petrol.

My boot won't open and now ds' door won't open. The electrics are failing and I'm not sure if it's worth fixing.

Took dd to her orthotics appt and he wants to cast her again SadSad she had this when she was two. They put casts on for tree or four weeks to try and stretch the hamstrings out. I haven't told her yet she will be devastated and will miss swimming.

supermariossister · 20/01/2016 12:22

:( spotty poor dd, its hard to explain to a child its necessary isnt it and a blow about the swimming, hope she takes it okay maybe some other treats that can be done frugally i shall have a think!

Pointlessfan · 20/01/2016 12:42

That's a shame for your DD spotty, how long will it be for? It will be worth it in the long run.

lilacclery · 20/01/2016 13:59

ah spotty your poor dd, did it make a big difference that time?

I was worried I was going to bore ye to tears with my story, glad it was received well.

My drivers window is sticking a little too spotty I'm nearly afraid to let it down. It's going to the garage in two weeks anyhow so will ask them to take a look at it then.

SpottyTeacakes · 20/01/2016 14:05

Thanks everyone. I suppose it did help last time but it was such a long time ago I can't remember! I think it's three or four weeks. Will find out more when we go back in two weeks.

Girlfriend36 · 20/01/2016 14:51

Thats rotton for your dd Spotty but i guess worthwhile in the long run.

Days off seem to be my nemesis at the moment!

Spent £80 in Dun Elm on a ottoman, shiny new kettle and a V shaped pillow. All things that are much needed, the ottoman will replace the current foot stall which is falling to bits and will hopefully contain some of dds toys as well. I love my new kettle - its beautiful Grin and my old V shaped pillow was 23 years old so had done quite well!!

Spent another £18 in Lidls but stocked up on all the things I like in Lidls and can't get in Morrisons.

Went to send my passport off and they spotted a mistake so have to fill the forms in again, just as well I went for the check and send!!

CremeEggThief · 20/01/2016 16:37

Sorry to hear that, Spotty. Short term pain for long term gain, eh?

50 pence on a pint of milk.
