Fluffy he would think he'd died and gone to heaven. However, I am safe as he would be incapable of finding Harrogte (or Yorkshire for that matter!)

CremeEggThief · 14/06/2015 18:35

Then tried prezzo thinking I'd use voucher cloud....nothing. ..so ended up paying full price somewhere. Grrr.

Lol I find the slow cooker hit and miss for saucy things :) love doing full joints though (pulled pork anyone??)

Lovely day in a town up the coast today, little bit of shopping, got DS a lovely fleece (£1) and coat (£5) from a brilliant outdoor seconds shop. DO bought a top and fleece not sure how much. We went for coffees out and then a walk by the harbour, and along the beach to the play park. Ds was in his element :) made me really want to buy a holiday home (clearly a pipe dream lol). Just grateful to have use of DMs static caravan and it's only 30 mins from home. Made chicken and ham with veg and mash for tea. No gravy in the store cupboard I could have cried (gravy addict).

DD not coping well with the heat poor thing.

Collie at least the car looks good!

Going to have to drive up to the nearest shop and get nappies, Sunday opening hours in NI mean all the supermarkets are long shut, but 7 nappies is cutting it a little fine for my liking as OH has things to do at home tomorrow so is taking the car...

Hello! £13 at Sainsburys had to get something for a party but redeemed £5.

Topped up petrol at a tesco garage but put £4.50 of tesco vouchers towards it. I don't shop at tesco really (2x a year maybe?) so these vouchers came in handy.

£6 at church.

£18 Chinese shop.

Spent loads this weekend - frugal win in the reverse of MrsD Wink is that I need more dresses! Just been wearing the same few to death over the last few years of pregnancy/bf. Got a lovely smart one second hand from fb for 6quid which will look excellent at next wedding.

Have donated some money via the mumsnet just giving (since MN doubles contributions, it's kind of frugal?! - good causes, anyway) also spent 30 at the town carnival.

116 more on toilet and basin for the bathroom refit. Not doing too badly budget wise for the refit, picked up a lot on sale plus bargain recycled bath, if we were capable of fitting it all I reckon we could have had it all done for 500 - as it is I think it will be more like 1.5k. Still a lot less than it could be!

babsmam · 14/06/2015 21:42

Oops sorry needa for making you look again. That's the annoying thing about amazon fluctuations in price.

babsmam · 14/06/2015 22:24

anyone heard of these? Product testing people? bzzagent

thinking of signing up but never heard of them before

Spendy day as its my birthday. Going out for lunch with a friend. Going to try and find a new dress for the racing Friday. Need to print some photos too. Sure there were some other things but I can't remember.

My day hasn't got off to a very good start. Got out of bed and my bad knee which has been playing up lately gave way underneath me. I'm sitting at home feeling sorry for myself and waiting to go to the doctors later.
Decided to use the time to order DH's Father's Day present. He loves chocolate so I went via Quidco to Hotel Chocolat. 12% cashback - great. I realised after I'd placed the order that I could also have got free delivery but I didn't notice it on the screen. That's not good frugaleering! Grrrr.....

Pointless I'd ask for an ortho referral.

Collie that sucks. Is it actually worth fixing? Thats the point it got to for us unfortunately. Dealers can be pricey :(

Poor DD is teething which would explain a lot of her clinginess / crying. Will be buying some anbesol at some point today. Dh has nipped home for a few things and will be picking up DSs new shoes from Clarks (£14 in the sale and his current ones are wrecked and a size too small).

TheseSoles · 15/06/2015 11:42

Happy Birthday Spotty!

Pointlessfan · 15/06/2015 13:01

Thanks. Sorry to hear about your car, Collie.
Doctor has given me some kick-ass pain killers (but £8.60 on the prescription) and said she'll refer me for physio if it's no better in two weeks.
On a different subject, can I freeze toad in the hole?
