O.kay spends today

£4 swimming
£6 in Wilkos, got lots for this! 2 boxes of tissues, san pro, face wipes, tooth paste and 10 kitchen scrubbers and 30 dishwasher tablets Grin love Wilkos!!

Right now for the confession....

I went into EE to find out why my mobile phone bill is getting more expensive and ended up changing to them for my broadband and phone line . I know you lot are going to tell me I should have waited and done it online through cashback but it does seem like a good deal. I will have 6 months unlimited calls and BB for £21 a month which then increases to £34 a month.

You are probably all going to tell me I could have got it cheaper else where but tbh I am so sick of thieving BT I am just happy to be leaving them and this will still save me at least £200 over the course of the year.

It turns out my mobile phone contracts runs out in 2 weeks so the chap in the shop told me to come back in then and he will sort me out a much better deal for that as well.

babsmam · 09/06/2015 15:56

Fluffycloudland77 · 09/06/2015 17:26

£7 Tesco.

PeoniesforMissAnnersley · 09/06/2015 17:33

£60 on hair dye in salon (damn those greys!)

We are on the list for a puppy, I want a smooth-haired dachshund, am so excited. He is supposed to be born any day now and we'll have him by mid summer. Grin

Peppapissinpig · 09/06/2015 18:06

£4 bread and rolls (Greggs again Grin)
£55 blazer and skirts for DD Confused, they were second hand though so would have cost 3 times as much brand new.

girliefriend · 09/06/2015 18:34

MissA Envy I want a puppy

Am glad you think it sounds o.kay Collie I do find it slightly stressful finding the best deals sometimes Grin

TheseSoles · 09/06/2015 18:34

My TaxC renewal pack finally arrived spotty! Going to do that online tonight and see if that changes things. 0%cc stuff also sorted out and my bank account is now not overdrawn Shock - psychologically it looks much nicer and no 75 quids worth of interest going out each month! That plus CB should pay it off before the 0% runs out.

SpottyTeacakes · 09/06/2015 18:35

I still haven't got mine Angry

TheseSoles · 09/06/2015 18:37

I'm going to the bank asap to turn that bloody overdraft off though. Not going to risk running it up again.

TheseSoles · 09/06/2015 18:38

x-post ridiculous. You are right, they should send them in march!

CremeEggThief · 09/06/2015 18:47

£7 travel.
£3 electricity for the meter at the new house.
£1.05 bottle of water and a chocolate bar.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 09/06/2015 19:18

sounds good girlie - when u upgrade mobile contracts have a look online at prices then if the ones u have found online are cheaper they might price match for u Grin

yesterday co op £6 bread, biscuits, compost, drinks for dp. post office £3.78 stamps.

today bus £2.20 GB £2 co op £1.69 raspberries and some pastry mix.

NK5BM3 · 09/06/2015 20:09

Nsd other than cleaner £36. Also applied for a 0% credit card. Hmm Last time I did that was probably 11 years ago when we were paying for our wedding and we did everything on 0%, savings or cash. The latest credit card I got was the John Lewis one and it's got me quite a bit of money back for shopping there (will be good for either wait rose or school uniforms).

I'm getting it to pay for flights to Asia for Christmas. See dad and stepmum and see how things are. I will definitely pay it all back by the time the 12 months is up and with the pay rise and the savings from not paying nursery from sept we hopefully will be ok. £4k for flights. Omg!

Yay just sold an old dressing table on eBay for £50!

blueteapot · 09/06/2015 20:27

Finally a NSD! I spent it priming the garage windows and side door, and the boiler room door (all were racing green before and the paint flaking off!). Will do the topcoat tomorrow. It's amazing how slow DIY goes with a toddler and a 4 month old - I could have easily got it all done in a morning before!

Gardener is coming tomorrow

DH has taken DS out to do some errands and DD is in bed - the house is all quiet... its strange lol.

Ate a lovely veggie salad tonight as we were out of meat and Im trying to stretch things out a bit. It was lovely but I'm hungry again already! Tea and toast time lol xx

Does anyone know where I can get cheapest genetic toothbrush heads for an electric toothbrush? Asda seem to be cheapest so far at about £6 for 4 but is there anywhere else?

Fluffycloudland77 · 09/06/2015 21:36

Amazon, ebay, homebargains and b&m always worth a check.

£6 for 4 is really good though.

Laska42 · 09/06/2015 22:01

Nk I was wondering about your stepmum and dad . How are things going?

Well ok- ish spending today
£2.97 in easyweigh shop on herbs and spices
£1 (of course ) in Poundland on mossie bite and sting relief for hols (Xpel the best ive found since the wonderful Wasp-eeze was discontinued)
£10.65 in Co op

But also had delivered 4 large boxes of whiskas from pets at home.. (its no good, my cat simply will NOT eat anything else) they are doing boxes of 40 sachets for £9 with free delivery which is quite good (so £36 on that but was in the budget)

I also bought a couple of kindle books for hols over the weekend just gone .. there will be more bought before i go but hanging out in the unlikely event any of the ones on my wish list come down in price before i capitulate to the inevitable he day befor we go and buy the ones i want to take anyhow.( couple of weeks to go yet though so may be lucky).

I want a puppy also !! (have never had a dog though )
