Meal planning is going well, £10 yesterday on Paddington dvd , made popcorn and had a "cinema" afternoon, £12 in aldi on wine, 2 choc bunnies and the super 6 veg . Today is spring cleaning bedrooms day, tomorrow we are going to friends for lunch and egg hunt so should manage 2nsd.
I may have to search the attic for old sky boxes now!

Yesterday

3/4
£57.08 Pizza Hut (after adult DSS/GF gave us some towards it, they insisted bless them)
£5.20 bus fares

Also haven't recorded Tesco delivery yet, lost the receipt Blush think it was around £40. Shopping has been absolutely chaotic lately!

Flowers for all the poorly people.

So spendy day so far, girlie cat has been for a check up at the vets £26, have asked them to send another claim off to the insurance company though so should get that back at some point. The good news is that the vet said her mouth looks normal!! So can cut right down on the steroids and only need to take her back if I notice anything is amiss

Also picked up 5 packets of Dreamies in Pets at Home as they were on offer (5 packets for £4) both cats love Dreamies!! Hamster food £2.

Realised as I was paying that the reward card I have been using in there for ages is actually my mums, which may explain why I haven't been getting any vouchers

Popped into Dun Elm and bought 3 storage boxes for £12 and a scented candle 99p.

Quick shop in Lidls only spent £13 and got loads Shock filled up fridge and fruit bowl. Had a fair amount of food in any way so shouldn't need to get any more for a week or so.

Biggest bargain in Lidls was their shower gel which was 33p, I pushed the boat out and bought 2!!

Fluffy my mums cat was a bugger for limping and then running around the vets room Hmm hope your cat is all better now? Did they work out what was wrong?

I'm glad she's better girlie, I was hoping such a young cat wouldn't have something really serious. I love lidls Orange shower gel, it's gorgeous.

spotty I hope your voice comes back soon, right now Dh would LOVE me to lose mine. Salt water is worth trying. Germs don't like it and it washes anything nasty away. There's always seems to be more bugs around in spring and autumn.

Our cat is still squealing when picked up but the vet reckons he's fallen. I felt an idiot taking a cat in and him dancing swan lake for the vet. She must think I'm a total over-reactor. I had a tear stained face and everything.

£5 today. Dh repaid the paypal. Sainsburys energy have sent me an email saying I'm two weeks late paying my energy bill, it's on dd and I paid by card the beginning of March because the dd wasn't set up yet so how can I be two weeks late?.

Dh has applied to yorkshire bank for a current account, there's a £150 incentive if you pay a £1000 in each month for 70 days. It's ending soon though. He's had a dispute with first direct too so he should get £100 from them when he leaves.

Thurs + Fri were the nsds I predicted today Mr T delivered €95.21 delivery was meant to be a € but I think a glitch in their system means I'm still down as delivery saver even though I cancelled it months ago Grin I spent €53 on diesel for car petrol for lawnmower newspaper & potato salad that I forgot to buy from Mr T. Spotty I'm same as you with clothes, really need to lose weight but can't keep going with the few clothes I have either.

My weekend away is drawing close. I thought I'd have weight lost to shop then but I don't. Will just get few bits to keep me going.

I also need new clothes but have a hard job finding anything I like and fit. Shopping for the kids is way easier!

Made an Easter tree this afternoon, found sticks in the local park and put them in a vase, made decorations out of stuff from dds craft box and painted some egg shells (blew the egg out of them first) look lovely and cost nothing.

I spent £15 on an unexpected visit to Sainsburys today. That was cat food, a chicken that DH was meant to get from the butchers but they were closed, crisps as the salt is helping my sore throat and 2 bottles of shower gel on offer. Not too bad but it was meant to be NSD.
My dad came round today with lovely gifts for us all eg. Easter chocolate, posh cheese, wine and clothes for DD plus a few toys and books. It was really generous and really cheered me up especially as they are all things we couldn't justify spending the money on.

Feel bbetter soon everyone Flowers

Spent an embarrassing amount over the last few days. super annoyed that I bought eggs on sale etc for a hunt tomorrow and then left them at a friends, properly miles away too far to get them now - ended up going out and buying more.

Also totally restocked the fridge and freezer so well over weekly budget there but hopefully will last a decent while.

Been busy busy so haven't caught up yet.

Two NSDs, yesterday and today. DH bought wine, soft drinks and Chocs for the host as we went to a BBQ yesterday.

Thursday I spent about £16/18 on Esater eggs for DDs. Had been too busy before so ended up in the naice chocolate shop because supermarkets only had the eggs that DD2 would like in tiny sizes. Couldn't buy one a 50g egg and her twin sister a 250g oneEaster Hmm

Yesterday was nsd for me. We helped my dad move and then visited family. Friday I paid £200 childcare and £62 in Asda. I was pleased with the food bill as it had crept up to £100 a week, but inspired by you lovely ladies I meal planned and saved loads Smile

Today will be nsd. We are going to my sisters for an egg hunt and then are having a relaxed afternoon and roast at home. Happy Easter everyone.

Morning all. Friday and Saturday have been quite spendy but we've had good days so trying not to feel bad about it. Forgot to bring my Prozac with me and beginning to feel the effects of that I think, felt quite teary yesterday. Have looked online and it seems pharmacists can give emergency supplies so will ring this morning.

Had a chat with ds yesterday and he does want to go ahead with the chest bracing so I need to re look at our budget and probably put off our new driveway until next spring. I'm sure this is the best time for ds to have the brace so hopefully it'll be successful.

No, I'm not happy that DH is so free with my money, but he realised after he had done it. I will get the money out of him by fair means or foul! Easter Grin

Yesterday £25 to replace DH's lost V5 registration for the car he has just sold. No idea where that has gone, but I searched his car file, my car file, the drawer of filing yet to be done, I expect it will turn up now.

£11 for lunch as we were an hour early arriving at the theatre as I got the times wrong. I tried to buy sandals for DD1, we have her first communion 4 weeks today. She tried on proper first communion shoes, but she moaned they were uncomfortable, so we were going yo just buy white sandals. They didn't have the size the said she needed in white, so we tried on pink (so I could order them online) but, i wasn't happy with the fit of the pair they tried on her. I prefer to buy sandals in later April, or they seem to have grown out of the by July and you can't get more for love nor money. I think I'll take her in again in a couple of weeks.

She measured as a 1.5 G, but this size had less than one thumb width growing room.

Tea was £6.50 for me, and £5 for each of the 2 children doing the show. The kids get lunch money back from the theatre, but they tell the kids it is their wages (only £4.50 a day) but whereas DS just gives it back to me as I have explained I have paid for his meals upfront, but DD1 argued about it. I suspect she will just leave it around and I will "find" it.

£10 for parking, but I thought that wasn't too bad for 12.15 until 10.30 at night in the town centre.

Saturday spent £41. £11 on eyebrow wax. £30 on riding lesson.

Our hot water tank chose Friday night to do a mega leak so were without water for the foreseeable future. Dh called the plumber but he hasn't got back to him.

Luckily parents/the gym are nearby. So can shower there. We have bottled water so have drinks. It's just a royal pita.

Savings so far £2250. Thanks in large to parents who gifted me some money. Sadly most of this might be spent on new hot water doodad.

£20.00 to DH which I owed him when he paid for a takeaway when I went out last Friday and the two DS's haircuts through the week.

I went out last night to see a band but didn't spend a penny! I was designated driver and went out with my brother, his partner, and a friend. They each bought me a pint of coke to say thank you for saving them paying for a taxi so that was a cheap night out.

We need to buy a new toilet and bath before one or otter is irreversibly broken (cracks everywhere!) the best sales are now apparently but It's probably going to wipe out the savings we made in Feb. Not happy.
