Eek! Today's been a bit spendy after all. Decided to take advantage of the TU 25% off to get some new jeans as Sainsburys are the only ones that fit me. Got two pairs plus a dress and also some vests for DD. Also got hot x buns, orange squash and anti bac wipes all of which I'd have bought on Saturday anyway. Bought a gadget to stop DD aka Houdini from escaping out of the high chair but it's much too big so I'll have to return it. It was £24.99 in Mothercare. Have found some different ones on Amazon for £4.99 so will try that next. I was proud of myself for resisting all the cute baby clothes in both shops though!

I'm going to try and do a cheap week next week but we need lots of cleaning stuff so not sure how well it'll work!

I've got a horribly sore throat and haven't had a very productive day so still have loads to do!

Spag bol for dinner.

Captain your dgm is very generous. She must think a lot of you all.

Got £1.06 from topcashback so I'm having it as Tesco points, hopefully I'll have enough to boost them for hampton court palace tickets.

Just signed up for Tesco delivery on Sat morn as they're a € a slot until 12th April. This is great value as it saves me driving to town with two smallies so saves fuel, spends & tormentation! Frugal & sanity win.

Got paid today & have spent nothing yet & won't spend anything tomo either.

Very spendy today - buying fancy face masks, but let's ignore that for a second Blush

I've recently got a couple of bargains - 4 clarisonic brush heads from eBay for 9.00!
Anyone who uses the Clarisonic knows how expensive they are!
Also a litre bottle of Matrix conditioner from EBay for £11.00!

Both paid for with the money I've made on EBay selling things!

Hi all!
I'm back from Paris.

Yes the chocolates were all for the family and two bits for my admin team. My daughter devoured one already....! She's only 4!

Very spendy but most of it will be claimed back. My spends were 45€ for a necklace and some other things for the family, and the €37 for the chocolates.

I'm so tired now. I live in hope the kids will go to bed ASAP and I can go too.

NSD. First in a week I think.

Oh wait, DH has taken £20 out of my purse for weekly quiz night. I doubt he will spend £5 of that though, old village pub with alarmingly strong and ridiculously cheap beer. DH says he never dare have more than 2 pints.

Resisted the urge to buy a bbq, came home and mowed the lawns instead :-) nsd there.
fil the called and took us out for tea - yay to free foods.
Petrol light came on en route home from work but dp's car has half a tank so I'm thinking use his all weekend and then mine only needs to get me to work and back Tuesday and Wednesday before I get paid again Thursday - a tenner should more than cover that :-)

definitely getting back into the swing of things :-)

Morning everyone! I wrote a big long post and lost it :( Spent £37 in MrT last night on nappies, a few easter bits for DS and DM/MIL. Lost my purse the other day out shopping so cancelled my cards - it turned up in boots (thank god!) but cards cancelled so DH drew me out some cash (£200) on Tues - have about a tenner left but in my defence I taxed the new car (£112), bought a load of DIY stuff from B&M for the hall project and did 2x reasonably sized grocery shops so none frittered :/

Batch cooked chilli and a shepherds pie yesterday to use up some mince. SIL fed DS so OH and I just had a freezer pizza in the spirit of using stuff up :)

Used nectar points to get 2x desperately needed pairs of trainers in the double up. Does anyone shop much at MrS? If so check out sainsburys 'mycoupons' to boost points! :)

Took advantage of the boots babywash glitch so got 15 bottles of baby bath and 15 baby wash for £20, with £15 worth of points back made 30 bottles for a fiver - shouldnt need to buy any more this year!

Planning to try and save my points towards (dare I say it!) xmas although its always so tempting to use them in store, have about £22 worth at the mo.

Very tempted to stock up on a few xmas gifts with the tesco 1000 points on lego deal as I think lego is a great gift to both give and recieve!

OH off on a 5 day weekend now so time for a bit of R&R :) xx

We had a NSD here yesterday.

To make up for it I have priced up the garden changes... 450 on landscaping. When it is done we will have a huge herb garden and a BBQ place to put the wood oven and smoker / sitting out area. My brother is growing the herbs in his greenhouse so we have saved on the plants. I haven't priced in the wood oven as that can wait until the summer. Now just to wait until it stops raining so I can dig out the weeds & improve the soil.

I am hoping that with having the herb garden it will be both to maintain, we will save money on buying packets of herbs and our food will taste better. I would do vege but as bro is giving us a vege box each week it seems a bit of faff for no gain.

blue I have been thinking of stashing Xmas presents too. The down side is that I won't be able to do a Victor Meldrew when the shops put the deorations up in August.

More last minute Easter chocolate buying here! £8 in Aldi but to be honest, the shelves were almost bare so ds won't be getting the giant egg he's probably dreaming of.
Spent £6 on car parking yesterday, £10 on pasties for lunch, £5 on pitch and putt for dh and ds.
Today I'm getting the train (£17) and meeting up with some friends. We're eating in and then going out for a few drinks so not sure how much it'll be.

Hello! I fell off the March thread but want back in on this one please!

We are still saving for our new house. I have been 2 months now no cc balance. And am scrimping everywhere I can.

This weeks spends total about £80. But include big food shop, amazon shop, boots online shop.

We've meal planned and I've been buy making things for the freezer.

Not planning on spending more until pay day in April.

Hello everyone. Sorry to go AWOL but it has been manic here. We are in the middle of final dress rehearsals for one show, whilst DC1&2 are simultaneously performing in another one. It's chaos.

Furious with DH, took his mum to the theatre last night and he very generously made her a gift OF THE £45 TICKET I HAD PAID FOR! I think he realised he had overstepped the mark. He offered me the money, but I bet I never see it. That said, his mum then paid £30 for the 2 t-shirts for the kids from the show, DH bought the drinks.

Going out a bit later to take DD1 to the £ shop. After her sleepover went pear shaped I said we'd go today. I gave promised her £5.

The last week has been really spendy, and nit sure what I have already confessedd to! I got out holiday flights to Greece about £1,500, which was more than I expected, but I had 't allowed £120 for luggage and DH flying out on a different say was a little more than the day we are flying. Also paid £217 for his cousin, but I'll get that back.

Tesco shop today was £160 usher, but didn't shop last week. DH did some bits, he spent £100 in M&S on nothing.

That's a result with the Boots points, blue. I'm saving mine up to get a new electric toothbrush.
Spent £36 on shopping in Lidl. That's the weekly shop plus a few extra snacks and treats as we're all at home next week. Very pleased with how cheap that was.
Just got £9 paid from Quidco too. I'm putting all these odd bits of cash like that in my online savings account for xmas.
DH just made fish cakes for DD's lunch and then lots for the freezer. I'm going to batch cook veggie Bolognese and tomato and basil sauce this afternoon.
