Forgot, ordered 10 pinafores that the children are going to wear as a costume £110, but I will get back £99 of that.

£2 dr pepper! Neighbour was going to shops and asked if I wanted anything... The caffeine was calling me (I don't drink tea or coffee) :o

Finally caught up on this thread but I bet there's loads on the new one already! Roll on Frugal February :)

Me, NSD. DH bought me the coat I was after, now down from £299 to £99 Grin it's being delivered so I should have it by the end of next week.

Spendy day to end January. Took DD to Wyevale with friend and her DDs. Cost £££££ more than our usual Saturday outing of local play centre + lunch in Asda cafe. Definitely keep Wyevale as an occasional trip.
Need to go to Home Bargains for a few bit and Tesco for fruit pots and cooking apples. DD (nearly 2!!) still likes a fruit pot at breakfast and I know she's getting an immediate hit of something healthy. Real fruit just don't cut it at breakfast. She is a weirdo Grin

Last spends update from me for Jan.
€12 on drinks at Christmas party last night. could have been a spendy night as we were in good company but we didn't have cash so couldn't spend. Best off I was on the the road early this morning

Won't be NSD as need dishwasher powder, a key cut and a few other bits and bobs.

Almost let our cleaner go to save money but reality is that in term we both work 70+ hour weeks and it just won't get done.

MissMysticFalls · 01/02/2015 12:40

It will be a NSD today, unless we pay any bills tonight instead to tomorrow. Stocked up on Ecover stuff especially dishwasher tablets at Waitrose on Friday - 25% off the range (at least it was on Friday). Rest of the family are at DMiL for lunch today and I'm at home with lunch of leftovers (includes some cake, so I'm happy!). Made pizzas for dinner last night - so much cheaper if you make your own dough and have veggie ones. Feeling pretty good on the frugal front.

Is anyone starting a new thread for Feb?

CremeEggThief · 01/02/2015 12:43

We've got one, Mystic. I can't link, as I am on my phone, but just search Credit Crunch.
