Spotty - hope all goes well today and it's as stress free as possible

Spent £67 on weekly shop. Delivered by tesco tomorrow as had a free delivery voucher

potbellyroast · 28/03/2014 16:39

spotty how did it go? Hope your DS is doing well.

A bit spendy today. Bought the dog a new bed £30 but I've felt bad for ages as he's been sleeping on a blanket for weeks.

silkknickers · 28/03/2014 16:41

NSD so far, except for writing a cheque out for £42.42 for drain repair. I'm not counting the cheque as a spend, as it won't come out of the account for a few days!

SpottyTeacakes · 28/03/2014 16:54

All went well thanks Smile writing off today wrt money. 6 hours parking is £36.50 I'm hoping we can get some kind of discount!

potbellyroast · 28/03/2014 17:01

£36.50 Shock.

Ellisisland · 28/03/2014 17:26

It's scary the price of hospital parking. I had to go a lot back in January and one days parking came £76 Shock

CoolCadbury · 28/03/2014 18:00

Hospital car park fees are one of the things that make me go Angry. Kick us when we or our loved ones are feeling the most vulnerable.Sad

potbellyroast · 28/03/2014 18:09

A days parking at our hospital would probably be £8 for the day. We do live oop north though. If I walk a few minutes from the hospital it would be free.

The prices you have to pay are truly shocking! And yes I agree - at a time when you can do without that cost.

Glad your DS is ok.

Fluffycloudland77 · 28/03/2014 18:14

spotty is he ok though? I was fine the first day then I seemed to get worse. I think the lovely painkillers help on the first day.

Happy weekend everyone. Can't quite believe today was a nsd. DC were both screaming most of the morning after waking at 4.30am and I was ready for a massive nero coffee but hesitated. Really proud of myself. Silly really!

ilovepicnmix · 29/03/2014 09:01

That's me back from my holiday and DS is with his dad. It seems veeery quiet but it's nice to have a lie in. Yesterday was spendy. 3.99 on a wee tabbard for DS. 1.45 on picnmix which will go in the bin as wasn't nice. 50 something on petrol and about 5 on parking. When I got home I did my shop in Aldi which was 35.45 once the voucher was taken off. I forgot onions and a cucumber though so will have to get them today.
