I am trying to save money by making sandwiches for my husband to take to work but i'm desperately short of inspiration. What to do that is cheap but doesnot rely on super cheap meat. If i can't expand the range a bit we'll both get bored of it very soon.

Please help...

I have just discovered Baxters sweet chilli jam. Makes even boring ham sandwiches good!

You know those little pots of sandwich fillers? I use them but I chop the contents up so I get 3 sandwiches a day for £1 (asda) or 85p (aldi) and theres a little left out of each one so I have enough to do a variety of sandwiches for Friday, so £3.60 a week.

If you dont chop them the chicken pieces are too big and you cant eek the pot out enough.
