I thought that was going to be 27p wasted.

But you were right! I am drinking a mighty fine cup of tea. Smile

Thank you!

Thanks for this, I actually buy quite a lot of value stuff but have never bought value tea. I bought some of the Sainsbos value tea today, having a well deserved cup now after facing the toy sale and it's lovely! Will be buying again.

Sains basic tinned tomatoes and sweetcorn are great - Tesco's versions of the same are a false economy.

Good to know tea bags. Basic rice krispie equivalents are nasty FWIW.

BelfryBloke · 27/10/2011 13:30

My friend only drinks Sainsbo's Earl Grey. Loose leaf and teabags.

No other Earl Grey will do.

ooh I think it was me that suggested them! Glad you like them. I've stocked up in case they change them or something Grin

Hi, I went to Sainsburys and bought some basics tea, i am going to do my bits of cleaning that i need to do and then make myself a cuppa before the school run - I'm looking forward to it!

Loonytoonie · 02/11/2011 21:06

I use the washing powder and brown vinegar - I re-use it as well (as recommended on here). I love Mumsnet. I'm a tad confused by that horMOANsmomore - how do you re-use it?

Oh, yes, Saisnburys Basics rice crispies aren't even good for chocolate crispies.

TheSecondComing, you must live in a soft water area.

I personally don't de-scale, although I really should!

The sainsbury's basic canned tuna isn't bad either, and 'tis pole and line caught too. We use it for tuna mess and the kids love it:o
