Is this positive or has it somehow smudged? Took 10 minutes ago and left laying flat.

Is this a positive covid test?

Looks positive to me. Have you got another one to repeat?

BeanieTeen · 24/08/2022 18:37

Looks like it. It will probably darken if you take another tomorrow.

Fevertree · 24/08/2022 18:37

Looks positive to me, I bet it will be darker tomorrow

Dottysmum18 · 24/08/2022 18:38

Yes any line is a line

Idunnooo · 24/08/2022 18:39

Mine was like that at the beginning when I had covid. By the next day the line was completely dark and was a very clear positive

Lindy2 · 24/08/2022 18:39

Yes I can see a faint line. That's a positive test I'm afraid.

Puppylucky · 24/08/2022 18:39

No there's nothing there?

wineandcheeseplease · 24/08/2022 18:42

Yes, that is positive for sure

Sunnyqueen · 24/08/2022 18:44

Yes that's positive. Nice nails btw.

Justcallmebebes · 24/08/2022 18:45

Am I missing something? Don't you have to have a line next to the T??

nomorerescuedogs · 24/08/2022 18:45

It is positive unfortunately, it will get darker but hopefully be lighter and then go completely over the next seven days or so.

Surplus2requirements · 24/08/2022 18:46

Back when we were regularly testing before doing anything I had tests like that both the day before feeling obviously unwell and about 6 days later

Glasses possibly? 😋

LampLighter414 · 24/08/2022 18:50

Depends.

If it means you’ll be off work for full pay then sure it is! 😁

TimeFlysWhenYoureHavingRum · 24/08/2022 18:51

Yes. Do another one tomorrow to be sure.

PinkButtercups · 24/08/2022 18:52

Yes that's positive

LionessesRules · 24/08/2022 18:52

Yes, it's positive.

Puppylucky · 24/08/2022 18:54

Blimey is that really what people are calling a positive? When I had covid the test line was unmistakable - not an indeterminate shadow possible smudge

Me too. You could see my line from outer space. Ten days later, it’s still a lot clearer than that.

londonlass71 · 24/08/2022 18:56

Yes. It says on the information leaflet even if the line is very faint then it is positive.

Cantgetbackagain · 24/08/2022 18:57

Plenty of us can see OP’s positive line.
Any line is a positive, no matter how faint it is, it even says this in the instructions.

BabyDreamers · 24/08/2022 19:00

I've had so many of these, literally 30, and been negative that they told me to stop testing. So I say its negative.

BabyDreamers · 24/08/2022 19:02

I've had darker than that and it be negative. The 1 occasion I actually had covid it was really dark.

Throughout the pandemic, they have said any line is a positive.

Throughout the pandemic, they have said any line is a positive.

But you have a proper test and it's not. It picks up other illness. I know this 100%
