Day 1 (but suspect 2) - have a sore throat and am a bit tired - but otherwise fine. What do expect?!

Have got covid, and don’t feel too bad. I’ve had all three vaccines.

Does it get progressively worse? I have a sore throat and am a bit tired but that’s it.

I took an ibuprofen before I realised I actually had it - which I know you’re not meant to do - whoops.

Am I likely to feel worse?!

i’m sure this has been asked a million times! It’s my first covid experience so I don’t know what to expect!

I fell 100% back to normal and tested negative yesterday - which was day 8/9 I think? And a relief as I had booked a stay away for a few days which I worried I’d have to cancel!

I think I got off very lightly! I hope the rest of you feel better fast!

Also - I had the 2 vaccs and the booster, all of which left me feeling horrid so I was dreading covid. But they must have done their work! The first vaccine felt worse than my overall Covid did, to be honest!

Day 8 from testing positive for me. Am mainly left with a runny nose, though I have very little energy. Finally got my dd out for a walk today, got about 100 yards before turning back (though mainly because she was tantrumming) but needed a child-free rest on my return. It didn't help that she tried to convince me the day started at 3:15 and didn't go back til sleep til 7, mind.

Still negative, though not as strongly as the last test which I took on Thursday. Here, in Scotland, at least, one can resume normal life on day 6 regardless of test result, as long as no temp and feel OK.

Thanks for clarifying this. I tested positive on Friday last week, so by that reckoning should be able to do a food shop on Wednesday 🤞 feels wrong though shopping if still testing positive.
