I went for a PCR last Thursday which was positive. Did a lateral flow today and still positive (day 6).

2pinkginsplease · 15/02/2022 19:33

Day 12 before I got a negative test!

gonnabeok · 15/02/2022 19:34

Still positive on day 6.

KeepingOnKeepingUp · 15/02/2022 19:35

Negative on day 6 here but I think that I may have missed the first positive as suspect it was incredibly faint and my eyes aren't good. So probably day 7.

hesbeen2021 · 15/02/2022 19:35

Negative day 5 onwards

@Starlight21

Has anyone logged on gov site?
119 said not to log them or it resets your isolation clock

Today is my day 6. Tested positive yesterday, didn't want to test today because I was convinced it would still be positive even though I know that's not necessarily rational Sad. I have pretty severe depression anyway and I'm at the point where I basically don't feel physically ill at all but isolating is making me mentally worse than ever so I'm absolutely gagging - and will be in the literal sense I suppose with those throat swabs! - to get two negatives otherwise this will continue till Sunday.

LuckyWithMyLot · 15/02/2022 22:31

I felt crappy but tested negative the first day of signs. I then tested pisitive on the 2nd day after signs started. Tested Positive again on day 5, negative day 6 and 7.

chipshopElvis · 15/02/2022 23:09

Day 8

Coffeeonmytoffee · 15/02/2022 23:14

brogueish · 16/02/2022 06:21

I tested pos on days 1, 5-9, 15 and 26 (very faint). Was testing bc wanted to see my elderly mum. Negative test on day 27, phew!

covidfinallycaughtus · 16/02/2022 07:25

If you test positive until day 10, can you go out on day 10 or do you need to wait until the following day?
