If you've had Covid since Christmas (so more likely Omicron), which was your worse day symptom-wise?

I currently have Covid and I'm interested in peak poorliness! I wonder if the day people feel most ill is similar at all.

I felt the worst on Day 1.

TheThreeHeadedBeast · 11/02/2022 19:08

Day 0
Did a test on day -1 as had been in contact which was negative.
Woke up the next day and felt ill, tested positive

ABCeasyasdohrayme · 11/02/2022 19:08

Day 1 and 2 were my worst ones, I felt awful. Absolutely fine after that.

christinarossetti19 · 11/02/2022 19:09

Day 1, the day that I actually tested positive was the worst, but I'd been feeling rough for a few days beforehand.

It does seem to linger a bit though.

MintMe · 11/02/2022 19:19

Day three. Awful nights sleep on day two with bad temperature and whole body aches.

Relaxing2 · 11/02/2022 19:20

Day 1 shaking cold couldn't get warm aches all over

CloseYourEyesAndSee · 11/02/2022 19:21

Ill on day one then slightly better then ill again around day 7

Pushkinia · 11/02/2022 19:21

Day 2 and 3 were my worst. I was feeling better by day 5.

PickAChew · 11/02/2022 19:25

I've not had a really bad day but today is day 8 and I've been struggling with congestion and sinus pressure, today.

DH has a bad first few days with fever and headaches and slept all afternoon, the day after he tested positive. Ds2 also had a bad first few days.

mmmmmchocolate · 11/02/2022 19:27

The first 2 days, I was absolutely fine one day, had loads of energy! Felt tired on the evening and went to bed early. I woke up at midnight shaking with a raging temperature. It passed fairly quickly though and I was pretty much fine by day 5 or 6 apart from being a bit more tired than usual. It was nowhere near as bad as delta. Hope you’re not feeling too poorly.

Wellbythebloodyhell · 11/02/2022 19:29

I can only comment on behalf of DS, he occasionally coughed throughout day 1 & 2 , and then completely normal from day 3 onwards

MrsPworkingmummy · 11/02/2022 19:30

5 out of 6 students in my class tested positive one week recently on the Tuesday. By the end of school on Wednesday I'd lost my voice but felt fine otherwise, then I started feeling poorly on Thursday. By Friday I was ill. I tested positive on Saturday, but started getting better from then. So day 2 and 3 (Thurs and Fri) were the worst for me.

Bagelsandbrie · 11/02/2022 19:35

Day 2/3 and then gradually got better after that. I was hardly poorly to be honest, bit of a tight chest and fatigue but no fever. I’m in the clinically vulnerable group and have been triple jabbed.

tokyo1 · 11/02/2022 19:37

Day 3. I had symptoms for about 8 days. Thought I recovered but three days later I've had the worst sinus issues and headaches. It's taken me 6 weeks so far to feel better. So actually that parts been the worst. Blehhhhh.

Mol1628 · 11/02/2022 19:38

Days three and four.

HairyScaryMonster · 11/02/2022 19:38

Probably day 3. Worked through day 1 and half of day 2 like it was a bad cold, day 3-4 felt like flu, day 5 symptoms cleared but fatigue was bad for a further 5 days.

poshtonic · 11/02/2022 19:39

Days 4 and 5 for me . I'm on day 10 now and had my first negative result today and feeling a bit better.

30not13 · 11/02/2022 19:44

4 and 5

BubblegumLife · 11/02/2022 19:45

From testing for about 24hours. So day 0-1. Completely fine afterwards but no negative test until day 9.

Whatdramain2022 · 11/02/2022 19:49

Days 2 and 3, not helped by having broken ribs. I think I caught it in hospital after my accident.

Day 6 now and feel weirdly spaced out.

Goitalone2022 · 11/02/2022 19:50

I’m on day 4 - with positive test day being 0 and my worse day was day 2. Feeling almost back to normal now so hoping it’ll be all up from here.

tigerlilymochalatte · 11/02/2022 19:52

Days 3 and 4 for me, had fever, headaches body aches but it went pretty quickly after day 4.

Tulips21 · 11/02/2022 19:55

Day 2 & 3, I wasnt to ill- heavy cold & felt v.tired.
I did feel sick days 7-11 but im unsure if that was part of my symptoms

HPandTheNeverEndingBedtime · 11/02/2022 19:58

Everyday was a mystery and I woke up waiting to find out what would be wrong with me.
Day 0-1 Fluey symptoms
Day 2 runny nose, overall fine
Day 3 Upset stomach
Day 4 Coughs and sneezes
Day 5-8 weird conjunctivitis eye thing, blurry vision in one eye
9 - 10 Felt ok
11 Back to work - migraine, nauseous
12, Feel quite zoned out at work, kept writing things wrong on my whiteboard which was annoying when I was teaching.

The only thing that stayed the whole way through was tiredness, at any point I would happily have a nap and that has stuck with me (and my colleagues who had it just before me).

Neverfittedin85 · 11/02/2022 20:00

Day 3 and 4 horrific.

Day 5 today. Still positive but feel like I've turned a corner
