When did you test negative on your lateral flow?

Has anyone actually tested negative on day 5 then 6?!
Today is day 3 and DS is still strong (pic attached) Any chance it can be this strong then be negative by day 5?
Just have a feeling we will be stuck in for the full 10 days at the rate 😩

All my DC were positive for the full 10 days. I was negative by day 7 but have had the vaccinations which my DC obviously haven't had.

It was Day 9 for me (today), sorry 😞

My son has tested negative on a day 6 today, after a very faint line on day 5.

Not here I’m afraid. But I did have a strong positive the day before I went negative on day 9. DD was similar and DH was still positive on day 10.

I was still testing positive on day 10. I was tripple vacinated.
Double vacinated dh was also still testing positive on day 10.

We all (4 of us) tested positive up to day10 😭

Not much point taking a test on day 3, could be anything by day 5. I've not known anyone get a negative on day 5, couple of people day 6 (and 7), plenty of people 10+ days. Don't get your hopes up.

I’m on day 4 today and my test line is way darker than the control line. I assume this is not a good sign?

Me and dd both tested neg on day 5 and 6, dh on day 6 and 7. Good luck!

Day 5 & 6 here. I only had a faint line when I tested positive though.

DS was day 11, DD day 9. I was still positive on day 11! DH was smugly negative days 6/7 so could stop isolating early. Weirdly I had no symptoms but tested positive the longest

DS has just tested negative on day seven. His first test was like a beacon, didn't test again until day five but it was pretty faint and could barely see it on day six.

My daughter’s lateral flow test became negative on day 6 (today)-yay!

DS day 8

Day 10 for me. DS is still positive day 5. Why are yo u still testing tho if it's only day 3?

For those who did get out of jail early were the lateral flows bright to begin with? I can't see how his will suddenly get lighter and disappear!

Interested to know the longest anyone has gone and still tested positive, as my DF is still bloody positive after 18 days!

I didn’t test my ds on day 3 so can’t compare but I would say his was about as strong as the control line on his day zero. Don’t bother testing til day 5 and I bet it’ll have faded. It’s like people testing for pregnancy crazy early. Who doesn’t love a test?!

I tested from day 5-10. 10 was barely visible. 9 was feint. 8 was slightly less feint. 7 was a little lighter than full. 6 was full.

I was still positive on day 8. I didn’t test after that
