Anyone else isolating and feeling grumpy?

I am feeling so grumpy today. It is day 3 for me. But I have been stuck at home days before that because two of my kids got covid first. It is the worst to be sick when you have kids. They have no idea of giving you a break....argh. They whine and whinge they are bored. They are SO annoying. I just want to recover from covid and be able to relax while doing so! My kids had no symptoms and have been full of energy the whole time. I had fever, aches, headache, sore throat and a small cough. It has not been too bad when I take paracetemal. But I am also more fatigued. And I have to help homeschool them, plus just deal with all their daily needs. I am just fed up with isolating them. They have both been negative for two days but need to isolate until Thursday. I am fed up with this shitty weather. ARGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sunshine....spring....where are you??

Anyone else feel the same? What day are you on? What are you doing to cheer up? I am watching the hobbit (only 10-15 mins at a time because that is all I can manage with the kids around or me having to do something else.). But I do enjoy that movie :)

Yes omicron is most dominant but I guess the taste thing being less common now gave me hope. My taste seems better today but I haven’t eaten anything again that triggered it. Hope yours comes back quickly 🤞

@LadyPenelope68 are you taking paracetamol or ibprofen to try and reduce the pain? I am still taking one dose of paracetamol and one dose of ibprofen a day. I still do not feel great though. But at least I do not need it at night time anymore. I feel exhausted and I have an annoying partner who things I am just milking it. He seems to think covid is nothing so doesnt understand how I feel. So far he has not caught it.

The fatigue is brutal. I've tried getting up and doing things but after 10 mins I have to lie down again. Just lying on my bed with the window open a crack to get fresh air in. Lots of napping. No appetite

@Mamabear12
I’ve been alternating them (advice I’ve had in the past), but I think the pain/aching is resistant to them.

@Invasionofthegutsnatchers the fatigue is brutal, totally agree.
