According to the DM and other sources, Israel and Germany have already announced this.

Ffs.. then the 5th at Easter, 6th in summer and so on?

Are people really willing to get vaccinated every few months ?

I do too @110APiccadilly.

I also remember being horrified when my ds were little.
I went to the chemist to check if I could still use the liquid paracetamol that I had been open for a long long time. The first answer from the pharmacist was to say it was fine because I would use it within a year anyway. That bottle was older already and not even half empty…
Do people take paracetamol like if they were sweets and do the same with their dcs??

Pennypie · 24/12/2021 22:44

No.
Absolutely no way.

@venusmay

I'm very pro vaccination but I think that's a lot of vaccination! I feel it's not really fair on the younger kids, quite stressful.
The people promoting a 4th shot aren’t leaving young people out of their playground game. It’s not fair to the whole world that Covid exists. It sucks for all of us in our own special ways.
FreeBritnee · 24/12/2021 23:11

Long as they make it easily accessible, I don’t mind.

borntobequiet · 27/12/2021 10:26

I avoid taking medication unless absolutely necessary, but it’s three months since I had my booster and I would take a further booster if advised to do so.
In fact as I’m one of those retired teachers that they’re trying to persuade back into school, I’d need the extra booster to even consider it.

Siameasy · 27/12/2021 11:07

I’m starting to think I’d like a break before my next booster as I have felt really odd ever since. Insomnia-taking 3 hours to drop off. Restless feet, joint pain. I wonder if it’s too much.

PineappleMojito · 27/12/2021 11:10

I won’t be having boosters every 3 months. I’d be fine with an annual one, like flu, that seems reasonable, but if these vaccines only last 3 months they’re a bit crap and we need better ones.

Blubells · 27/12/2021 11:13

Why does everyone need a booster anyway? Why not just offer the boosters to the vulnerable and elderly?

Abraxan · 27/12/2021 11:28

I'll already be having 4. Had 3 so far and my 4th will be due in February. I've also had covid, albeit over a year ago. Have an annual flu vaccine too.

Me, Dh and 19y Dd are all fully vax with booster flu jab too. Dh and DD's flu ones are now free due to living with me. Used to have to pay for them.

Once it settled more I assume it will become an annual one, possibly adjusted for more recent variety like the flu jab. And like the flu jab available to a much wider group than previously, plus open to all if they pay. Given before winter to help reduce the pressure on the nhs, like the flu jab.

In the meantime I'll take what they offer. I've had minimal reactions to any of the jabs, flu or covid. Covid, however, put me in hospital and left me with a lifelong health child diction and daily medication.

Bluebells this is logical and many scienctists seem to be saying the same
