Positive Moderna experiences

I nearly cancelled my Booster through fear of feeling ill after having Moderna at a time when being ill would play havoc with my plans and severe anxiety about feeling ill. Most of the experiences I'd read on the net or through chatting to friends. I wonder how many other people are the same?

Anyway I did it yesterday morning and so far nothing, after nearly 30 hours ( the time scale they advised that the really bad stuff kicks in) I have nothing other than a mildly sore arm, my husband is the same. I felt worse with both my Pfizer vaccines, which weren't really bad at all either. Maybe it's because I drank tons of water as they advised, who knows.

So I'm posting here to say not everyone suffers, but we only ever hear the negative experiences, maybe we should have some positive experiences too.

Dh and I had Moderna booster. We both had a sore arm but that was it. Thankful to be boosted!

Had it as my booster - felt a bit rough the next morning but nothing awful. I had a worse experience with my first jab (AZ) where I had to take the next day off sick!

Moderna x3

Felt a bit hungover the next day after no.2, have felt tired after no.3 but that could be due to time of year and work (not unusual to be knackered in the last week of term). Sore arm with all 3 but no worse than any other jab.

Thank you for this thread op- just what I need to hear!!! I've just had a Moderna booster after 2x AZ and have been v worried about side effects as I reacted v badly to both AZ and DH who had no side effects after Pfizer was quite unwell after his Moderna booster.

There is hope I will feel ok!

I had it for my booster after AZ, OH had it for all 3 of his jabs and no real reaction to any of them from either of us.

Had my Moderna booster yesterday afternoon. Felt a bit hot in the face yesterday evening and had a bit of a sore throat. Went to bed at usual time and took paracetamol. Slept well and have woken up feeling fine.

Relieved as I have a busy week at work this week and was worried I'm have to take time off!

I was very poorly after my Moderna booster. Sudden recovery 50 hours later though. It does make me nervous of future boosters, but grateful to be triple vaccinated

Felt slightly hungover the day after Moderna booster following 2 AZ doses (zero side effects) and would happily do the same as often as needed to prevent serious illness as much as possible

I'm about 30 hours post Moderna booster (after 2 Pfizer and zero side effects from either) and I haven't felt amazing. Sore arm, tired, foggy headed, little bit achy, woke at 5am and couldn't get back to sleep. However it didn't stop me accompanying 25 rowdy 3yo's to the theatre today [nursery trip]

Hoping this is as bad as it gets 🤞
