So I had the Pfizer booster yesterday and everything was fine until the evening. I started to feel cold so added a blanket to my bed. Woken up today and feel like I have been hit by a bus. I am so busy at work (WFH) and have lots of deadlines so can't afford to take time off (no-one else to cover my work and am going to have to work the weekend to catch up on todays work that I couldn't concentrate on). I am a terrible sick person and feel so sorry for myself so I know I am being an ass. I just wondered if anyone else had the same issue and when did they feel better. Lying I'm bed with 2 duvets a jumper and cardigan on and still feel so cold and feverish. I have taken an LFT which was negative so assuming its the booster. Wish I hadn't bothered now. (See I am a pathetic sick person). 😫 can anyone give me any hope? Thanks

I had a thread about this on Thursday. I felt awful Thursday evening, I felt like I’d been hit by a bus and was freezing cold even with an electric throw on. Every muscle ached and I had the headache from hell as well as vomiting. I started to feel better yesterday afternoon then went downhill last night, I vomited twice during the night and felt quite grim this morning. I’m starting to feel a bit more human now though. My first 2 vacs were AZ and then Pfizer for the third booster. DH is perfectly fine having had the same vacs as me.

I had the Moderna booster on Saturday lunchtime, and this one was by far the worse reaction. I was fine until 9pm then chills so bad my teeth were chattering. Several hours of that then fever for the next 12 hours, a small amount of respite then it started all over again. Managed a few hours of work this morning, but so exhausted had to take the afternoon off. Worst reaction I've had yet, not sure I can cope with anymore jabs. I will of course, but by heck they need to smooth out the side effects.

Just found this thread as I'm wondering when my booster side effects will wear off. I've never had such horrible vaccines as these ones:
March 2020 - covid 2 weeks slightly ropey and around 3 days of bad flu, 2 weeks of zero smell & taste which recovered gently.
1st AZ -3 days of feeling absolutely awful same as covid at its worst
2nd AZ - 2 days of feeling a bit shivery and tired
Moderna booster - 2 days in so far with splitting headache, shivers on and off and exhausted.
I was hoping to go for a day out tomorrow!!
Give me hope

And now I've got insane heart burn? Argh

I had 1st and 2nd Az with little side effects. Moderna booster yesterday and it has floored me. One minute I'm freezing with chills and violent shivering, next minute I'm sweating.

What is strange though is that I've also developed cold symptoms (coughing, mucus, runny nose, sore throat etc) which is totally unexpected? Is this still side effects of Moderna or is it a cold?

I'm meant to be working all night tonight. Currently sat in the side room feeling very bloody sorry for myself. Don't want to go home because it's a new job and I as off a month ago with covid!

Had Moderna booster and it just made my arm ache more than the two AZ jabs I had. First AZ I was really tired for first 36 hours then back to normal, nothing with second. You've been unlucky but will soon mend!

1st two vaccinations were AZ - reacted to the first one but not the second. I had my Moderna booster on Friday and have had bad pain in the arm since, and from Saturday afternoon I felt really tired and rubbish.
