Moderna booster side effects?

I had my Moderna booster on Sunday evening. Was ok Sunday night (apart from very sore arm), bit tired on Monday, mild flu-like symptoms on Tuesday which I still have today. I just feel tired and bleurgh rather than properly ill, if that makes sense. I was pretty unwell for about a week after my first AZ so was expecting to feel a bit crap, but would the side effects from a booster last this long, given it's a smaller dose of a different vaccine?

I had covid in September and all my regular LFTs this week have been negative, and I don't have any covid symptoms, classic or otherwise.

Anyone else have side effects from their booster which went on for longer than a day or two?

I has 2 X Pfizer and yesterday had the moderna booster.

I spent the whole night last night awake with chills, nausea, headache, aching limbs, sweats, fever, and generally feeling rubbish. I'm off work and in bed today feeling rotten, but starting to feel a lot better now.

I felt awful after the Pfizer jabs too - especially the first one.

I think some people are just unlucky to experience side effects this badly :(

I have had covid and now 3 jabs. I honestly don't think my body can take much more.

mine after each vaccine 2 AZ one moderna lasted about 48 hours
sickness, chills, headache, disorientation. drowsy

I had moderna x3. First two no side effects. The booster I had headache and very painful swollen lymph nodes. Lasted about 4-5 days

My first two doses were Pfizer. Had moderna yesterday. Today I have a sore arm and feel super tired. No other symptoms though. Didn't suffer any symptoms with the first two.
Think tiredness after moderna is a common side effect.

Had my moderna yesterday after 2 AZ and a bout of covid (pre-vacc). Feel a bit rubbish, sore arm, tired, a bit like I'm coming down with something. Not horrendous though and hoping to be back to normal tomorrow....

Moderna booster after 2 x AZ really sore arm but nothing else.
DH felt off for 24 hrs
Think I've been extremely lucky as no side effects from any or the flu.

Had Moderna booster earlier this week (first two were AZ and I had next to no reaction to those.) Extremely sore arm is only just wearing off. Persistent low-level headache. Feeling very tired but not sleeping well. Nothing worse than that.

I had Pfizer for the first 2 and then the Moderna booster. Felt ok after the Pfizer's but absolutely awful after the Moderna booster. Arm aches so much , the ache went into shoulder and back of neck, could barley move or get comfortable. Felt sick and very tired. Took paracetamol, felt better after about 36 hours.

My Moderna sore arm kept me awake for the first night and I had a headache for a few hours.

The arm was much better within 36 hours. That was that. I was lucky.

X 2 astra zenica, no side effects.
Moderna booster last Sat, bit of a sore arm that eased if I stretched it out, soreness gone by monday night.

Moderna booster yesterday after 2 x AZ. Bit dizzy yesterday evening and had a raging thirst but all ok today except for a sore arm. I’m hoping I’ve swerved the proper side effects, as it’s more than 24 hours now

First 2 vaccines, AZ - no real side effects at all.

Had my Moderna booster yesterday and by the evening thought that my arm was paralysed - could barely move it and had horrid pins and needles in my hand. Terrible nights sleep - too hot and then freezing cold, and could not get comfy. In less pain now but have just woken up after a nap because I was so tired (fortunately day off today).

I had mine Wednesday, still feeling poorly, tired, sore arm, stiff neck, shivering then hot. It's so horrible, I feel so rubbish. Hoping to turn a corner tomorrow.

I had 2 AZ then Moderna booster on Tuesday. About 18 hours after AZ#1 I didn’t feel great and spent the day in bed with chills, ached all over & headache. After Moderna booster about 24 hours later on Wednesday I suddenly felt really unwell, cold & feverish, mild headache and again aches from top to toe (side effects may have been delayed due to the stress of having a much loved elderly pet put to sleep on Wednesday morning though). I went to bed at around 6.30pm in pjs, thick socks, dressing gown, two duvets with a hot water bottle & the window wide open with a fan on 🤷‍♀️ as I was unable to get comfortable. Feel much better today though

I had my booster Friday afternoon, about 6 hours later I felt very tired, achy and feverish and this continued for the next 24 hours. Would have struggled to work I think. It lifted suddenly and I feel fine today, just a sore arm but that's lots better than it was. I had a similar reaction to my first AZ jab then nothing with the AZ second jab. V glad to have had the booster before Christmas.

Very sore arm and shoulder after Moderna booster, also a headache but that could be unrelated/hormonal. I had no ill effects after my previous AZ vaccines.

Sore arm, felt like a hangover next day
Sore arm, bit tired but not unusual for this time of the year to be knackered so don’t know if it’s due to vax or work

Horrible sore lymph nodes and weird muscle aches, all on one side of the body. Lasted 3 days, but now have aches on the other side, which may be related or may just have slept weirdly. Hope you feel better soon.

2 x AZ. Bit rubbish after the first and a sore arm. Completely fine after the 2nd. Moderna yesterday, very sore arm and feel tired and achy today. Sitting in my PJs watching crap telly should se me right though!

2x AZ made me really ill. First dose 7 days of feeling dreadful, 2nd dose 3 days of feeling dodgy.

Moderna booster yesterday, I ache, chills, dizzy, headache, nausea, very tired. I planned ahead so can rest today. I'm hoping to feel brighter tomorrow.

I was wondering the same thing. I had 2x AZ with no real side effects other than feeling tired for a day or so afterwards.

Had Moderna booster on Friday afternoon and was fine over the weekend apart from a sore arm lying down. Managed a 10k walk yesterday so doing ok.

Then started to feel off when going to bed last night, felt hot and as though heart was beating too fast. Did all obs and all ok but just couldn’t sleep. Still awake now…

I had the Moderna after 2xAZ about 6 weeks ago. I felt like total turd for a couple of days and my mental health has been on the floor since then (although alot else I going on, I was coping before) and my period was 10 days late.

fatigue for about a week, unexpected as no reaction apart from very slight chills for 5 mins with 1 and 2.
