Moderna booster side effects?

I had my Moderna booster on Sunday evening. Was ok Sunday night (apart from very sore arm), bit tired on Monday, mild flu-like symptoms on Tuesday which I still have today. I just feel tired and bleurgh rather than properly ill, if that makes sense. I was pretty unwell for about a week after my first AZ so was expecting to feel a bit crap, but would the side effects from a booster last this long, given it's a smaller dose of a different vaccine?

I had covid in September and all my regular LFTs this week have been negative, and I don't have any covid symptoms, classic or otherwise.

Anyone else have side effects from their booster which went on for longer than a day or two?

2 x AZ very tired, half day in bed otherwise fine.

Moderna booster 25 hours ago, arm very very sore, can’t lift it to wash hair, sweated all night, bit tired. I think that’s probably it, fingers crossed.

I had an evening of being sick, fevers, chills, shivers, and going hot to cold. Very poorly.
Then a day on the sofa feeling lethargic and sorry for myself.

Back to normal now but a bit tired and slow.

Felt like shit after my second one too.

I had 2x AZ and 1x Moderna. The first AZ was horrendous. Couldn’t get out of bed. Felt like I had flu. Lasted 24 hrs then 10 more to feel 100% better. The tiredness was awful.

Had Moderna at the weekend.
Shivery and violent shakes. Couldn’t warm up. Muscle aches. Didn’t sleep first night. Sore arm.
Took paracetamol which took the edge off the muscle aches, but as soon as the next dose was needed the symptoms came back.

Feeling better on the second day, but still very spaced out and taking paracetamol.

Honestly don’t think I can take a 4th vaccine.

Really hasn't been too bad but dh seemed v washed out by the end of day 4 yesterday and I'm also on day 4 and feel like I could just sleep all afternoon.

Except; toddler.

Update on my post (go back 4 I think). Felt a bit worse yesterday afternoon, went to bed, felt very teary, skipped dinner. Now exactly 48 hours after moderna feel much better, back to normal other than slightly sore arm. Relieved!

My sister was just boosted with moderna after Pfizer vaccine. She's really poorly today! Chills, headache, temperature

I had Moderna yesterday lunchtime, previously 2x Pfizer. First Pfizer I had a very sore arm and a slight fever two nights after my vaccine, second I had basically nothing.

With Moderna I started to fee l very tired yesterday evening, uncomfy in my skin and achey. Went to bed early, woke in the night with shivers and chills but no actual fever (was 37.1) and a very painful injection site. Very odd! Better this morning but still feel very tired and brain foggy, I would love to go to bed and watch crap TV but am having to work. This is definitely the worst I've felt (also had a flu jab this autumn with no side effects at all), but it's really not that bad, just a bit inconvenient when I'm busy.

I had Moderna booster after 2 x Pfizer. Second Pfizer I felt so tired, couldn't do anything. This Moderna I can carry on with no issues, but ow! My lymph nodes. They still hurt. And it's 60 hours later now. Paracetamol helps.

Had it a couple hours ago after 2 pfizer. No side effect so far..

Billi77 hope you are one of the lucky ones, but I have been having cheery conversations with over 10 people and at the very least you should prepare for a badly achey arm. Have some paracetamol at the ready!

Was fine last night but feel like I have the worst hangover ever today. And arm is v sore and stiff. Luckily took day off

Both vaccines were Pfizer and I had no side effects but a sore arm and a bit tired. Had Moderna booster yesterday and my god I'm suffering. Off work, just lying in bed aching all over, bad headaches, ears feel blocked and nauseous and disoriented. Everything is an effort. Hope it passes soon!

I was double pfizered and had my moderna booster yesterday. Today I feel exhausted, headache, chills, nausea, joint pain…ugh! It woke me up in the night. Didn’t expect it to be so bad as had no side effects for the first 2 pfizers. Horrible.
