Pfizer third booster after 2 Astra Zeneca

Has anyone had a Pfizer vaccine after 2 AZ? I was really unwell after the AZ ones and had the Pfizer today and OMG do I feel grim. I’m dizzy, have a headache and have been vomiting, I have a temp and every limb feels so heavy to move. I’m tired but sleep will not come. I’ve called NHS 24 and have been told to call back in the morning if I don’t feel better. Did anyone else have this? I’m sorry if there’s already a thread on this but I could only find ones on people having had the Moderna vaccine as a third dose.

Loads of people have had this. I felt rough with first AZ, bit under the weather with second AZ. Third Pfizer barely noticed - in fact I flew long haul the day after and had a tiny bit of a sore arm.

Yep, 2 AZ, then a Pfizer is pretty common. I felt a bit headachy after first AZ, then nothing much.Pfizer gave me a sore arm for a couple of days.

My suster and I both had first 2 AZ and felt a bit off after the first one, no effect after the second.
We both had Pfizer booster. I had so little reaction, I forget I'd had it; my sister's husband was on the point of calling an ambulance for my sister she was so ill.
It's seems all so random. I wonder if they'll ever find out why.

I've had that combination.

I felt no after effects from the 2 x AZ
I have a REALLY sore arm from the Pfizer - am not sure if that was the practitioner not being as skilled as the nurse who gave me my first two, or if it is to do with the difference in the make up of the drug. Other than that, I'Ve been fine.

I’ll see how I feel in the morning and hope this will pass during the night, I feel worse tonight than I did with the initial 2 vaccines. It’s really weird.

I had 2 x AZ. Pfizer booster. No side effects at all with AZ. Very painful arm with Pfizer but it only lasted a couple of days. All family had Pfizer as a booster, all had sore arms

I was told by the lady that my arm would hurt and to make sure I drank a lot to stay hydrated, which I did so that may have helpef

I drink a lot of water anyway, I just don’t understand why I feel so awful. I was fine up until 6pm, 8 hours after the vaccine. I don’t know, maybe it’s nothing to do with vaccine but I was perfectly fine until I had it.

I had 2 AZ (rough with first one for about 12hrs, fine with second)
Then Pfizer and flu jab together and fine. Sore arm on the flu jab side

I've had 3 Pfizer but my husbands had 2 AZ and then the Pfizer

We were given an info sheet at the appointment saying common side effects and what you've said were all listed on there. Pretty sure it said side effects would start within 48h and shouldn't last longer than 48h.

DP and I both had 2 AZ and then Pfizer booster.

Felt a bit fluey for a day or 2 after the first AZ.

After Pfizer booster, I had nothing. A slight ache in my arm overnight and that's it. DP had a very sore arm the next day but again nothing else.

It might simply be vaccine side effects but if your symptoms haven't gone in the next day or so, it's worth doing a Covid test. In case you unknowingly caught it the just before your vaccine.

I had v little reaction to the 2x AZ (a headache I think), but a rotten few days after the Pfizer booster (bed bound, flu type symptoms). I hope you’re better this morning.

Me.
Two weeks ago. I had no problems after first AZ, mother of all migraines for 2 days after second. Nothinh after Pfizer booster.

Dh and I had this combo. I was awful after AZ1, quite bad after Az2 and only sore arm after Pfizer booster .
DH has sore arm for booster and then all you describe for booster, passed after two days.

I’ve had that combo. Felt like I had flu after my booster, took to my bed and thought I would feel ill for days. Woke up the next morning feeling normal again.

1st AZ - felt rough, high temp, shivers etc which lasted for 48 hours
2nd AZ - did not have any side effects at all
Booster Pfizer - Same shivers and high temp for 24 hrs, but had bad night sweats for 4 days and a sore arm

1st and 2nd were Pfizer, 3rd Moderna.

1st: felt absolutely awful for about ten days. Constant headache and swollen glands in armpit and neck.

2nd: sore arm, a little bit tired.

3rd: felt extremely tired for 3 days, a bit of a headache for the first 2 days.

I had the same combo and felt ill after all of them. I don't think what you have mentioned is unusual, you've just got to wait for it to pass

DM 2AZ and Pfizer booster and fine after.

First Az dose - felt awful for 24 hours.
Second Az dose - fine.
Had Pfizer booster yesterday and have banging headache and feel achey and knackered today. Dead arm with massive bruise.

Hope you are feeling better OP.
DH had 2 AZ and then moderns and felt very unwell.
I had the Pfizer booster and planned my time expecting to be unwell, only had a sore arm and headache that paracetamol dealt with.
