I’m on holiday in France and have just realized I need to complete this form and book a test for when I get back home to UK. Does anyone know if I need to do this even with a recent positive COVID test? I have a ‘Recovery Pass’ as my Covid ‘passport’. Isn’t any test likely to show positive in the next 90 days? TIA

The carriers are held responsible if you turn up in the UK without the correct 'paper'work, so it's up to them to check before they let you board. It may be linked to your passport on their systems.

It's linked to your passport at UK airports so any problem will be picked up there.

And keep in mind that day 2 is actually day 3. Your first day in the Uk counts as zero.

@tilligan

So now we can return to work before we even take the day 2 LFT!! Who thinks up these bizarre rules?!
You do realise that you can get on the plane in the first place without any checks to see if you are positive?

Why is that any more or less bizarre than going straight back to work after you have been travelling?

Just accept that none of it makes any logical sense.
