How long for test results currently?

Both dd's have symptoms and have had tests today. Dp and I both without symptoms also has a test as offered. There's usually a thread around with others sharing their wait times for results but I can't find one. This time we were told expect results within 72 hours, previously it was 48.

How long have you waited recently?

Have had to have several recently. All 24 hours or less.

I posted a PCR test on Saturday afternoon. Not heard anything yet.

DD and I had our PCR's on Saturday morning and got our results just past midnight so early hours of this morning. About 38 hours.

My dd had a covid test at 1.30pm yesterday and we got the negative result at 7am today.

Weirdly got one result almost the same day , (just after midnight) the other took three days. PCR - But went for el cheapo testing firm. Both negative, anyway.

Myself and dd got our tests yesterday at 3pm, we got our results back this morning at 7.30 am we are in Scotland

About 27 hours from when the collection was due at the post box.

Two postal tests posted on Friday, delivered early hours of Saturday, results on Sunday mid day roughly

DS had test today and we were told 24-48 hours but there is a quick turnaround at the moment. Hoping for tomorrow morning

Did a test at 12 noon yesterday and got email and text results through at 01.40 this morning, thought that was super quick, they had told me 48 hours at the test centre.

I know two people who tested this morning at same place , one for result 6 hours later and other still waiting .

Depends on area I think. Dd was tested last week and results back in 14 hours - negative.

Told 24 to 48, test 10am, results came in midnight so actually 14. Brilliant, especially cos they were negative!

3 people I know tested this weekend, all got results quickly, within 18 hours, one had a test at 7pm and results at 10am. I’m not sure on postal, posted ds’ today.

Tested at a drive in centre 16:00 yesterday. 1 result came back at 17:00 today, the remaining 3 back at 19:00, so a little over 34 hours and between us we had 2 negatives and 2 positive results.

I got results in 7 hours today! I was amazed at the speed.

Had our test yesterday at about 2.30 results this morning at 9.15. All negative thankfully.

30 hours for our last walk-in. I was told up to 72 which is definitely longer than usual.

There's a centre about 20 minutes away which sometimes has a mobile testing van on-site, and results then take 3-4 hours - amazing! But no way of knowing whether it's there until you get there.

DS1 tested yesterday 9.30am and results through just after 2am this morning. Me, DH and DS2 just been so hoping for results by first thing tomorrow-this is a S London test centre.

My sons was exactly 24 hours to the dot.
