How long for pcr test result?

How long are pcr test results taking at the moment? I'm in the south west. Did a test at 10:30 this morning.

DD and I tested together on Sunday at 14.30. Mine came back 20 hours later. Hers came back 30 hours later. Weird.

We did tests this week at 9:30am Monday, results came through at 6am Tuesday (the emails, Thea texts took an hour or so longer to appear!)

I have had three in the last week! Between 12 and 30 hours

We did one at a walk in centre at 8am on Monday morning - result came back until after 11pm last night, nearly 40 hours in total. I think we were unlucky though. All others we've done have been back in under 24 hours.

Last week, Yorkshire, tested at 9am, results back at 4am the next day so about 19 hours.

SW here too. Less than 24 hrs for one on the weekend.

I sent my boys off Monday afternoon after a positive lft and still waiting for results. Driving me mad waiting!

Still waiting on a postal one, posted Monday.
Nearly 24hrs later than our previous one.

We had two in North London last week. One came back after 26 hours, the other after 36.

Still waiting for a test done yesterday so over 24 hrs in the East Midlands at the moment

Two done at drive in place at 9am yesterday (Tuesday). Still waiting nearly 31 hrs later

test last night 7pm, results 8.45 this morning, so just under 14hrs (Manchester)
unfortunately it was positive so the household have all done more tests today...

7pm Tuesday, results 2pm today.

8am east mids drive through yesterday results 5am today - email a couple of hours before text

Last Wednesday at 4.30pm, result Friday at 4am - 36 hours.

Sunday at 10am, result 11pm same day - 13 hours.

South East - tested at 11:00 on Sunday, positive result came by email at 1:18 am (early hours) of Monday. Result also followed up by text at 7:10 am on Monday.

Lincolnshire. We did ours on separate days at about 10ish. All arrived midnight-2am the next day, so about 14hrs later.

Also worth mentioning that was when emails arrived. Texts didn't come till 6-7am. Worth keeping an eye on your emails

Yep in Yorkshire and got mine back today 23 hours and 50mins after going to the walk in test centre.

27 hours last week.
72 this.

DH and I had PCR results today 17 hours after the test, email sent at 4am!

DS2’s who was swabbed at the same time didn’t come back until 3pm so some 28 hours after swabbing. His was positive, ours negative.

South East
25 hours for us yesterday

Thanks all. 30 hours now and still waiting for a result. Hoping DS can go back to school tomorrow as all lateral flow negative

South East. Test 10.30 yesterday morning and negative result at 7.30 this morning! I've never been so glad to have an old fashioned cough and cold!
