Did you get covid after having both vaccines?

And if so how sick were you and which brand was it?

From the reading I've done Pfizer and the others are better at preventing symptomatic covid than Astra Zeneca. Although AZ is as good at preventing hospitalisation.

Had two doses of AZ last one in may and caught covid in August.

I had 2nd dose of Pfizer in May, DH had AZ at the same time. We both had covid in august and I suffered more than he did with symptoms. But it's taking longer for his taste and smell to come back, whereas mine was only gone a few days.

I've had 2xPfizer and have booster booked for next week. DD (age 10) tested positive yesterday...so I expect I'll know in the next few days whether or not I've escaped!!

Yes. Three months after my second AZ.
It really floored me too and I am still struggling 4 weeks on. Am 48.

Yep, I felt very rough for a week, spent most of the time in bed with a constant migraine, a nasty cough, a sore throat and a blocked nose, much like a bad flu. I am still out of breath and not finding much flavour in food 8 weeks later.

I had 2 doses Astra Zeneca(feb and April)

I caught Covid from my husband who was also double jabbed Astra Zeneca beginning of September.
Husband tested positive first then I got a positive result day after then eldest son 13 tested positive couple of days later.
Our youngest 9 never caught it from us Confused

Forgot to add I felt like I had flu for a couple of days and then the worst symptom was a horrendous headache which lasted about a week.

3asAbird · 20/10/2021 03:27

Not personally but I know lots of people who have .

Pfizer in January and March.

Tested positive in august, was extremely tired with a headache but mainly felt like a typical flu.
Only symptom off the main list was loss of taste and smell three days after I tested positive which lasted around a month. I am classed as CEV so was a scary time.
I had only tested before as I was going back from annual leave to work at a hospital.

Two AZ jabs. Had a cough and a cold and weird head so took a LFT on Friday all clear. Cold has gotten worse so took another LFT yesterday and it has come back positive. So has my Mum who I saw and went out with on Friday. She took a PCR for work on Thursday and it came back clear so we think we picked it up when we went out. Mine feels like a bad head cold. Cough has eased but I’ve got no sense of taste or smell. I felt rough over the weekend and my eye balls hurt but am starting to feel better now apart from the coughing at night which has woken me up again.
