2 adults, 1 child. All symptomatic. PCRs booked for the morning. Pic taken within correct time frame. I think it must just be a bad cold we all have? Any thoughts?

Hmmmm..Not sure

FabricedeSauveterre · 17/10/2021 00:50

I think I can see a line on the top one

thaegumathteth · 17/10/2021 00:59

I think so - I adjusted brightness Etc to see it a bit clearer

these are negative,yes?
Bebabelouba · 17/10/2021 01:06

I'd say negative too.
Good that you are doing PCR tests too I guess. I hope you all feel better soon. Very hard that when any of us get unwell now an added dimension to it.
Take it easy

zebrarobot · 17/10/2021 01:08

@FabricedeSauveterre thats the one i was maybe a tiny bit unsure with but overall i think they are negative and i have just been looking at them for too long.

PCRs af 8.30 tomorrow. Fingers crossed for all negatives

PricklesTheHedgehog · 17/10/2021 01:09

Too one has a line.

zebrarobot · 17/10/2021 01:10

Interesting a few of you have mentioned the top one as thats the one i was a little uncertain of too. Will update with pcr results

Negative. DD’s LFT came up positive this week after she started with symptoms - very obvious line straight away.

Obviously some people have glaringly obvious positives, but any line, no matter how faint is a positive. You must know this from pregnancy tests!
zebrarobot · 17/10/2021 01:20

Thats what I would have been expecting @SpeckleDust. Hope your DD is well again soon.

This was our result too. My son had a negative lateral flow on the Sunday evening after he'd spent a full afternoon in a car with three others, no masks. He started to feel poorly mid afternoon and did a lateral flow which was negative. The following day (he isolated thankfully) he had this very positive result in a lateral flow.

The other three who were in the car with him the day before didn't get covid. We did daily lateral flow tests and two pcr tests. So he wasn't contagious with his negative lateral flow even though he felt ill and tested positive 12 hours later.

Megan2018 · 17/10/2021 01:23

I’ve had two clearly positive LFDs in the last 10 days and both PCR’s negative so there doesn’t seem to be any sense to it.
I’d say they look negative, but mine was very positive and yet wasn’t….either more rogue testing centres, I have a new mutant variant, or the tests are useless….

vastgrandupgrade · 17/10/2021 01:24

The top one is positive

Northernlurker · 17/10/2021 01:31

Oh ffs the top one is not positive!

Op wait on the pcr

honkytonkheroe · 17/10/2021 01:37

They are negative. My son had it last week and when it is positive there is no ambiguity. I was surprised at the speed and strength of the positive line. It only stayed like that for a couple of days before the next day being faint and then gone altogether. Keep testing but there's loads going around.

tomakethemove · 17/10/2021 01:37

My son had an obvious line and mine was negative but our PCR confirmed we both have it. Tested again a couple of days later and I have a faint line but had to hold it up to the light to see it.

toomuchlaundry · 17/10/2021 01:42

A faint line is still a positive, if viewed in the right time frame (same as a pregnancy test)

vastgrandupgrade · 17/10/2021 01:47

I can see a line in my screen, perhaps your screen has less definition @Northernlurker

Northernlurker · 17/10/2021 01:49

Perhaps you are seeing lines in front of your eyes @vastgrandupgrade

Previous poster is right, positives are unambiguous

Anon778833 · 17/10/2021 01:52

They all look negative to me.

november90 · 17/10/2021 01:54

I see what people mean about the top one, but, if that is a line I feel like it's too central to be the second line!

Hope you are all ok OP. Do update us with your results ♥️
