Just that really. Could do with a solid sleep to help me recover.

Yes, for the first four days. Magic.

Cervicalflop · 11/10/2021 18:13

I did. It made me feel groggy but to be honest I was feeling shit anyway, but it really did help for a few days.

5831bob123 · 11/10/2021 18:42

Right I'm going to ask someone to leave some on my doorstep. I remember taking it many years ago for a heavy cold and I slept like a log. I really struggle to sleep when I can't breathe through my nose.

Yep 👍 slept 12 hours too

user1000000000009 · 11/10/2021 18:49

I love that stuff.

megletthesecond · 11/10/2021 18:51

Maybe don't take the full dose if you're easily affected by medication. It works but it's potent.

shouldistop · 11/10/2021 19:03

Haven't taken it for Covid but have for colds etc. It's brilliant stuff but you need to take it maybe 2 hours before your usual bedtime and go to bed early as I find it can make you really groggy in the morning.

my8thMNusername · 11/10/2021 19:15

Ahhhh Night Nurse 😛

Cherrydown · 11/10/2021 19:35

Yes it's my favourite tipple. Slept beautifully the nights I've had it, forgot last night and awake with aches and pains until 5am.

tiddlysquat · 11/10/2021 19:58

I'm so gutted I was going to get some for dd who has covid but then she said she didn't want it. Now I have covid and so congested and desperate for sleep and would love night nurse ! It's great stuff .

Tinysnickers · 11/10/2021 20:01

Just sent OH out to get some Grin

Farcry66 · 11/10/2021 20:04

Putting it on the list. Got my positive today, feeling like crap and running out of paracetamol!!!

tiddlysquat · 11/10/2021 20:06

I now know what to ask for if a neighbour asks at any point if I need anything . I have lovely neighbours but they are all keeping well away (lone parent but thankfully not young children).

tiddlysquat · 11/10/2021 20:07

Day nurse is good too btw .

TreaslakeandBack · 11/10/2021 20:17

Yes I took it, I took the capsules and only needed one (adult dose is 2).
Brilliant stuff.

justdontknow123 · 11/10/2021 20:37

I took night nurse each night when I had covid but it ended up giving me heart palpitations. The gp told me to stop taking them and then they went . Was a bit worried as didn’t know what was causing them.

ArianaG · 11/10/2021 21:54

If you are struggling to breathe through your nose, have you tried sudafed spray?
I have difficulty sleeping when congested and it really works.

It helped me get through covid.

gamerchick · 11/10/2021 21:57

I take night nurse for occasional insomnia. Never mind being ill. It's the stuff.

Summersdreaming · 11/10/2021 22:09

Yep, amazing stuff, had the joy of covid + wisdom toothache at the same time and it was the only way to sleep at all.

Frostine · 11/10/2021 22:12

Piriton tablets works as well .

gamerchick · 11/10/2021 22:18
