PCR Home Test

How long are home tests taking to be delivered and how long are results taking at the moment?

We ordered a PCR for me and DS1 last night.

When I have ordered them before they've arrived the next day and the results came about two days after posting.

Although the most recent tests I ordered had no return address labels so were useless....

Ooh fingers crossed they come today then! Although it was quite late last night so probably not.

How annoying! Did you have to reorder?

I ordered on Thursday afternoon test arrived on Friday posted back on Friday. Got the results at 1pm Saturday.

That's great parkhead I'm hoping for a quick turn although even if its negative, we won't be going anywhere for a while whilst I'm feeling like this 🤮

Ordered Wednesday am. Delivered Thursday am. Results Friday 6pm

I ordered about 5pm yesterday and it arrived this morning.

Postal ones take a bit longer but in my personal experience it took about 2 days. We lucked out with the first positive, that only took 27 hours. The other results took a bit longer. It’s all over the place! Good luck and feel better soon!

Ordered one Tuesday afternoon, arrived Friday morning. Posted it back Saturday morning, still waiting for result.

I ordered on a Tuesday morning, arrived Wednesday- posted back that day, results received Friday morning.
That was back in August though.

Interesting, thank you. We ordered around 10pm last night so hopefully it arrives tomorrow morning and we get results Wednesday 🤞 we're both feeling a bit better this afternoon so hopefully its just a bug.

Ours arrived next day. The results took a bit longer than the last time we did them. I posted them off 9.30 Thursday morning last week and results came through 7pm Saturday evening .

We ordered Sunday night and arrived this morning. Posted back at lunch time so hopefully results tomorrow or Thursday

Last week we ordered Wednesday, they arrived Thursday. Tested and posted back in Thursday's post, results arrived Friday night/into Saturday small hours.

Ordered another one yesterday for DD, again arrived this morning and have already tested and posted back. So I'm hoping we'll know tomorrow again.

next day, and two days for results. That’s been posting them on a sunday in a priority box.

Just posting one for dh today when I do the school run (ordered it 5pm last night, it arrived sometime this morning), so we’ll see if it’s faster on a weekday.

Ordered Thursday morning, arrived Friday, sent back straight away. Results came Sunday night

Ordered last Tuesday morning, turned up Wednesday afternoon. Posted back 2pm Wednesday results started coming in 8pm Friday with my sons results at 9:30pm.

Looks as though 2 days as a standard then! Fingers crossed not much longer for yours chessie

Still waiting! I will ring the NHS helpline tomorrow if I don’t hear today. Unfortunately I forgot to take note of the return label barcode so I can’t use the Royal Mail tracking.

Put dh in the priority post box at 3pm yesterday, he got his result about ten mins ago (negative).

That’s our fastest postal one yet.

Ds result cane through tonight at 830pm while at a&e! Still waiting for mine...
