Randox Covid tests - avoid

DS just had to do a Day 2 PCR test as he recently returned from abroad. The nearest dropbox for the test is over 40 minutes drive away!

When DH & I did ours last week from Testing for All we only had to go half a mile.

I used them as they were cheap. You’re paying for a code basically. Thought I’d read that we had a drop box locally but no. Was an hour away! So I stupidly paid for a courier thinking I’d paid for next day delivery. They took nearly a week so all invalid.

But nobody checks so I won’t bother next time. I’ll pay for the cheapest code if I need to then do a free LFT for piece of mind. It’s all a con!

Not a drop box one but I had a rapid PCR with Randox for travel - paid for a 12 hour response and got results back in less than two hours. I would recommend them. The swabbers were so friendly as well.
