PCR test result text when I didn’t take a test..

Bit of a weird one… anyone ever a text alert for a covid test result for a PCR on a day they didn’t take one?

I did have a PCR the day before it states (2nd August test, this text says 3rd) and received the results as normal. Is this just a system glitch and has anyone else had this?

I've just had the same thing - had a text message at about half past nine tonight giving me the result of a test I took last week, but with the wrong date - it gives the date as the day after I actually took the test. No code for putting it into the app this time, just general advice about continuing to take precautions. I thought it might be some kind of glitch.

Ribrabrob · 04/08/2021 22:20

Oh I’ve had the exact same thing this evening! Very odd

BalconiWaferAddict · 04/08/2021 22:23

Ahhh if we’ve all had it then yep must be a glitch 😂 I had a panic thinking it would say ‘sorry… we got it wrong’.

Me too (last week's result). It was texted at 9:30pm.

At least they had the correct result, I suppose!

JanFebAnyMonth · 04/08/2021 22:57

Oh, me as well!!

amymel2016 · 04/08/2021 22:58

My DH just had this as well!

HungryForSnacks · 04/08/2021 23:04

FelicityBeedle · 04/08/2021 23:05

Namechange600 · 04/08/2021 23:06

And here too!

ladygindiva · 04/08/2021 23:08

Me too! My 4 yo had one on 1 August, got a reply ( negative) on the 2nd, I've just a few minutes ago received a negative test result for her for a test apparently taken on the 2bd August.

ladygindiva · 04/08/2021 23:09

*2nd

eatsleepdream · 04/08/2021 23:10

Just had one myself for a test yesterday that I didn't have. I had results for one I did the week before but no test this week

pinkkoala · 04/08/2021 23:12

Same here, i was expecting it to say sorry we got your results wrong.

Gazelda · 04/08/2021 23:15

Here too. I took a test on 29 July and received the results. Got a text this evening telling me results for test on 30 July.

BusMum79 · 04/08/2021 23:23

Same here. Two kids took tests last week. Results through next day. Suddenly got texts tonight with wrong test date (day after they took them) but at least same result (-ve). Was panicking it had been a mistake / correction!

Kayjay2018 · 04/08/2021 23:31

Snap, but interestingly only my husband got a text and not me, we tested the same day and used the same phone number...

Kayjay2018 · 04/08/2021 23:32

Having typed that I have just got a text through addresses to me

kazza446 · 04/08/2021 23:32

Me too!! Very bizarre! Tested Friday as part of my works weekly testing. Result came through Sunday as usual. Just received second result about an hour ago, even though I never tested!

Donatella · 04/08/2021 23:33

Oooh wierd. I've just had a text with a result from a postal test I took yesterday. I hope it is an accurate result and not a glitch if this many people are getting random ones!

montymum · 04/08/2021 23:35

Yes received one at 9.30pm too!

TonyThreePies · 04/08/2021 23:38

I've got the opposite. Test 2 weeks ago and still haven't received the results. Perhaps you've all received mine?

Antsinyourpanta · 04/08/2021 23:39

Yes same here (9.23pm)
I had a test on 30th and got the result on 31st around 7am. This one said I had a test on 31st (I didnt....but glad I didnt have to wait that long for a result)

Ohhelppp · 04/08/2021 23:39

Same here! Weird!

Bagforlifeandthelifeafter · 04/08/2021 23:40

I’ve just wondered this myself - literally just come through now so really late also

naughty40me · 04/08/2021 23:41

Me too! Just before 9.30pm, saying I took a test yesterday...I didn't
