How long are test results taking these days?

Wondering the same thing as also waiting for a test in Yorkshire!

I’m south west as well and went to a mobile unit at 12pm yesterday. Still waiting…

They did say they’d been busier so I guess there’s more to process.

West sussex here, 28 hours and waiting.

east midlands here - 26 hours - still waiting

Ours took just over 48 hours - tested Wednesday am, positive result through Friday lunch time.

We did one this week mid afternoon and results came back a day later.

Was just wondering out of interest more than anything. So looking like at least Monday. I have to isolate either way as I'm a contact but would like to know either way for now if I'm negative.

North Yorkshire here. Tested Tuesday at 8am (walk in), got results at 9.30 Wednesday morning.

That's quick :) I did mine this morning, would be nice to know tomorrow

London, less than 24 hours for us (booked test Thursday morning, got appointment for the next 90 minutes and got thankfully negative results Friday so she could go to school). Sorry you still have to isolate and I hope you are negative

DS got his in 12 hours last week. DH about 18 hours on Thursday.

Thanks both! Perhaps it's the weekend slowing it..I know it doesn't change anything bit worrying if I'm positive that people I saw Friday will need to be isolating

Did a drive through in the south west in the week. Tested Tuesday at 3pm, results back Weds 5am so 14 hours. Was very impressed.

South East- drive through- tested Saturday 9am, results back Sunday 5am.

Sent off Thursday, definitely got to lab Thursday, still not back.

Sigh.

It's crazy how different it can take isn't it! And then there's the ones that go missing.

DSS went Friday at 5 tot he walk in centre. Usually get results back within 24 hours, so I called up today and the test hadn't been registered. They did it on the phone and I got the test straight after so maybe check it's been registered if you've been waiting a while

Registered - called today. Result still not back. They're 'doing an investigation' that won't be complete for 3 days....

East Sussex border test on Thursday AM results before midday on Friday.

I am just tempted to go to the testing centre again and get new tests to see which ones get back first....

We tested 8am yesterday at our local walk in. Not back yet. First test this year (out of 8) that hasn't been back in time to get the kids to nursery.
