I bet she's over the bloody moon

She can slob about, watch telly all day, not brush her hair if she can't be arsed

Her lovely locks not being brushed? Never !

WorriedWishingWell · 05/07/2021 17:42

Kate who?

endofjune · 05/07/2021 17:43

I did wonder if she punched the air and sent will off on his way Grin

the80sweregreat · 05/07/2021 17:44

Katherine, duchess of Cambridge.
Williams wife and future Queen!

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 05/07/2021 17:45

Shell probably have to do her engagements via Zoom instead.

Orf1abc · 05/07/2021 17:46

I hope she'll cope OK cooped up in their flat with the three kiddies. Hopefully they've got a bit of outdoor space so she can get some fresh air Grin

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 05/07/2021 17:47

Yeah I'd be pretty chuffed if I was her too. Though Kensington Palace is probably not as nice to be stuck in as Anmer Hall but hey ho Grin

I'm sure she will troup on.

JovialNickname · 05/07/2021 17:49

I did wonder (don't sue) if she was pregnant again. As she gets terrible hyperemesis doesn't she.

Only my speculation - I have no insider info whatsoever!

ssd · 05/07/2021 17:50

Her mum will probably take the kids

William off being important

She'll be loving it

I'm delighted for her!

I recommend The Serpent on Netflix.

Roselilly36 · 05/07/2021 17:51

Perhaps she couldn’t stand anymore football!

the80sweregreat · 05/07/2021 17:54

She should sell her sports tickets on eBay !
Might make a few bob ..

lynsey91 · 05/07/2021 17:54

So why isn't William having to isolate? Have they not had any contact?

Also what about the children? Are they having to stay off school?

I don't understand how she was told to isolate because she came into contact with someone at Wimbledon. So what about all the other people at Wimbledon or at least those in the Royal Box with her?

Lol how is this different from her usual days? She could have self-isolated for two weeks and no one would have noticed 😂 they hardly do anything anyway

She is a close contact not a positive case so they dont have to

I assume anyone else in close contact would have to

She is not a positive case. Contacts of contacts dont have to isolate.

Ditto my comment above.

I dont think it has been specified that it was Wimbledon, but the rules are different for outside/inside, I believe. She could have taken a car back from Wimbledon and the driver tested positive.

the80sweregreat · 05/07/2021 18:06

I imagine her children are already off school now anyway, private schools have longer holidays

lynsey91 · 05/07/2021 18:06

So she has been in contact with someone who tested positive for covid but anyone she has been in contact with doesn't have to isolate because she has not tested positive!

I thought we all knew that you can pass it on without showing as positive and/or that it can take a while to show as a positive test.

It's a joke

endofjune · 05/07/2021 18:08

It’s the same in school bubbles, if you have children in year 3 and year 5 and someone in the year 3 bubble tests positive your y3 has to isolate but not your y5 despite sharing a house.

That has literally always been the rules. It’s not special for her.

I didn't realise that. I assumed if one person in a house has been in contact with a positive case everyone in that house should isolate.

Certainly if DH were to be told to isolate I would isolate too. I don't work so it would be easy enough but surely is the sensible thing to do?

BlackeyedSusan · 05/07/2021 18:20

I don't think it will be particularly difficult for her.... Might be an improvement if she stays well. She hardly pops out to the shops for milk normally. Hope she doesn't catch it though and isn't too worried. Depends where the contact was.

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 05/07/2021 18:27

How can we be over a year down the line and people still dont understand who has to isolate and who doesnt?

DoThePropeller · 05/07/2021 18:29

She was on a regular court (not royal box) on Friday so not inconceivable that she was pinged as a result of that.

BarbarianMum · 05/07/2021 18:34

@lynsey91 I assume you must live in an area of the country where rates are generally low. If we self isolated every time one of us were a close contact we'd have been in isolation for 40 days since October. Not counting the time we actually had COVID.
