Pfizer second jab

Feel very stupid posting this but as a disclaimer I have quite bad health anxiety. I'm having my second Pfizer jab on Saturday and even though I've been so desperate to be fully vaccinated I'm so so nervous.

Just wondering if anyone who was fine after the first was unwell or had side effects after the second?

Not sure what to expect.. I'm 42 if that makes any difference.

Husband not helping by telling me it's well known that Pfizer people are u well after the second jab rather than the first 🙄

Parents and brother both had Pfizer. Were all fine after first jab. Mum and brother fine after second jab. Dad felt "a little tired" after his second jab but not unwell.

I had Pfizer, had a sore arm after the first but nothing else.
Then only a headache the day after the 2nd which is probably not even related

Fine after both doses Pfizer. Sore arm only but nothing too bad

Sore arm after first jab.
Absolutely nothing after second jab.
If you get any side affects you will be able to deal with it

Nausea for a few days but not enough to stop me eating.

Also the nurse that did my second said the same as your husband but wasn’t the case for me, don’t worry, hopefully you’ll be absolutely fine

I'm 45, I was a bit tired for a couple of days after my second jab, slightly sore arm, and slight swelling in my armpit which disappeared within 12 hrs. Had the second jab on a Friday, was completely fine by Monday.

I had mine (2nd Pfizer) at 9am this morning. So far a bit tired and with a sore arm. I’ll update if this changes!

Pfizer first jab I hard sore arm (but have had worse B12s) had fuzzy head but also had 5 thunderstorms that day so could have been that

2nd jab absolutely nothing

Four teens in my house - all had Pfizer, none had anything other than a sore arm and I think one had a mild headache.

My sister felt a little nauseous after her second Pfizer. She got some fresh air then was fine.

I had my second Pfizer three weeks ago and had no side effects at all. I didn't even have a sore arm this time.

My dad was fine after both of his. I've only had my first so far but all I had was a sore arm the first 2 days, and that not even bad enough to need more than one dose of paracetamol.

I felt crappy after my first. Had the second last Friday. I felt a little off at the weekend but not too bad at all.

I’m in Canada. Had first dose AZ and a Pfizer chaser on Monday. Felt a bit cold then hot over about 4 hours yesterday afternoon but a hot bath and an early night seemed to do the trick! Injection site a bit red today but not painful.

Sore arm after the first Pfizer and a headache on the second evening after the second jab. Felt fine the following day.

Nothing from first. After the second my arm was sore for a few days and I felt slightly ‘woolly‘ for 24 hours.

Thanks so much everyone, everyone I know (even parents) have had the AZ one! It does help to read that people were fine. I'm never nervous about vaccines for me or my children but I'm obviously reading too many news articles. Fingers crossed I'll be ok on Saturday.

@Gooseysgirl I completely forgot but my lymph nodes all came up under my arm when I had my first one. Took about a week for them to go down.

Thanks so much again, helped to read all the replies when I woke up at 4am!

I assume if you have worse side effects from the vaccine it mean you would have been very ill if you caught covid itself - so even more reason to have the jab?

My parents, DH and best friend all had their second Pfizer, none any side effects. DM and best friend a bit off after first dose but fine after second not even sore arms.

Sore arm, chills and temperature after the first, nothing after the second apart from waking up at 4am, feeling a bit “dodgy”, going back to sleep and being fine in the morning!
DH also had Pfizer and had a side effect of grumpiness after the second. He denied it and said he was 100% fine.

I’m sure you’ll be ok.
