Take the vaccine or not

I have been invited to have my vaccine 2 months earlier than I should have been called.

However, I am feeling very conflicted and stuck on my decision to take it or not. I am a young female in her mid 20's and one side I am like do I want to inject something that is not fully tested and long term effects are not known , and the other side I am like everyone is taking it and I should take it also.

@Ephe17 it's impossible to calculate your risk like that.
You can estimate your risk of catching it, then your risk of mortality with it. Those numbers are very different.

And it's not just about your body yoyr choice, your lack of action affects others. As part of society we all take actions to help others. We rely on herd vaccination in schools or some children would never be able to attend.
If everyone was as selfish as you we'd have no available vaccines .
I guess you like taking the benefits from society but you won't do your bit to help.

Vaccines take years to come out and years of testing, and this one has come out in a year. Pardon my worries.

I wonder how much longer people are going to trot this out Confused It's been explained numerous times how this vaccine was released so quickly, and yet still the same old nonsense.

Just to update for those who care enough.

I have decided to take it, and have an upcoming appointment.

I hope I won't regret this.

If you are young, you have an extremely good chance of fighting Covid-19 with your immune system

You are also more likely to pass the virus in to those who can’t be vaccinated - vaccination reducers spread.

Think of others not as fortunate as yourselves.

@bearandowl - the EMA no longer has any formal link to UK regulation of vaccines. There are vaccine damage payments in the UK, so what you posted is a lie: www.gov.uk/vaccine-damage-payment.
When you are being fed information that doesn't even apply to this country, perhaps it's worth stopping for a second to wonder who is so keen to give you that "information" and why.
