Booking system open to all 37 and over from tomorrow!

MrsWhites · 17/05/2021 16:59

Anyone trying to book and getting a not eligible - use your NHS number instead of name. I tried with my name, couldn’t get in but tried straight away with NHS number now booked tomorrow morning!

stitchmaker85 · 17/05/2021 17:11

Still not eligible :( late July 1985 here, and yes I'm using my nhs number

springhasalmostsprung · 17/05/2021 17:17

Me either Sad

Lycopodium8 · 17/05/2021 17:28

I'm Feb 1985 and just booked

SunshineShorts · 17/05/2021 17:28

Has everyone received confirmation emails after booking? I haven’t for some reason (not in junk either) but I took a screenshot of my reference numbers so hopefully they’re all I’ll need?

maxiflump1 · 17/05/2021 17:32

@SunshineShorts I didn't even need that when I went for mine. Just gave them my name and the time I was booked for.

Porridgeislife · 17/05/2021 17:54

Just booked my June 1985 husband in for the same time as me this weekend at Islington BDC. Happy days!

I got turned away for not having my reference number so do take that with you. DH hasn’t had one for his either but I double checked on 119 after being turned away that his went through ok.
EvilPea · 17/05/2021 17:57

@springhasalmostsprung yes you can change it later, which is helpful given how far in advance you are booking it

notasillysausage · 17/05/2021 18:01

Is there any way of telling what vaccination you will be offered? I’m hoping not AZ (36 and just managed to book in North West)

springhasalmostsprung · 17/05/2021 18:05

Why doesn't it like me??!!!!

I think I read that if it hasn't asked you if there's any chance you could be pregnant then it won't be AZ

I would like to know that too. Just booked, also north west...would like some reassurance that it’s the pfizer vaccine!
BridgetJonesDaiquiri · 17/05/2021 18:20

Ok so booked! But no confirmation email or text yet? Didn't take screenshot of booking reference nos. Been on to 119 now for 20 mins :(

springhasalmostsprung · 17/05/2021 18:20

Oh DH now eligible (late 1984) but not me (Oct 85).
Will get him to look tonight though, the ideal one for us was not on the list, although there was one 14 miles away which isn't too bad.

If you go back onto NHS England website and select “Manage my appointment” rather than Book, you should be able to view your appointment and screenshot it, if you’re anxious waiting for the email to come through
ArtemisBean · 17/05/2021 18:25

Just got into the site to book, yay! Early 1985. Site still saying 38+ so not sure how it let me in, but not complaining!

Hi I have just booked mine through the link on the text message sent to me and on the first booking page I think it was there was a 'P' next to the location where the vaccine is going to take place. DH had 'AZ' on his a couple of weeks ago and he did have the Astra Zeneca one. I have just called the number and it is a Pfizer clinic I am going to. So the initials do correspond to the type of vaccine you have.
blondie87 · 17/05/2021 18:36

I am booked for this week for Pfizer, but I was contacted by the clinic directly and I’ve had no booking reference/text/email! So I’m panicking slightly that I’ll get there but have no way to prove my appointment. Has anyone else not had any booking confirmation but still had theirs?

OliveTree75 · 17/05/2021 18:38

Me and my best friend are both 33 and we both got our texts today. Both booked in for thursday! We have been told it will be Pfizer

DixonD · 17/05/2021 19:02

I booked for mine last Thursday morning , still not bad my email or text confirmation.

I do have my reference numbers and may call 119 to double check.
