32 here, my area seems to still be on the over 45s. I have underlying conditions but my asthma wasn't bad enough to qualify me for group 6, and none of my other conditions qualified.
I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis in early March but that didn't bump me up to group 6 as due to Covid I still haven't had an appointment for pre meds counselling so not yet on immunosuppressants to bump me up.
I'm really worried as to how long DH and I will have to wait.
Obviously rollout is not even, but I honestly think all over 30s will have been offered 1st dose by 1st week of June.
Papers reporting an increase of 500,000/day to 800,000 in the next two weeks. If you consider 1st doses has crept up to close to 200,000/day average for the last week, and you add 200,000 from that extra 300,000, which is probably low end, it might be all of it.
400,000 1st doses a day is huge. You will get through each year in about 2 days. (About 8m people aged 30-39 in England) As of 13th, I think 25% had already had 1st dose. So 6m/0.4 = 15 days from when they ramp up, or 30 days from now. But if you then consider take up won’t be 100%, then you are looking at less than 30 days for sure.
