Has anyone had both Pfizer and no side effects?

Got my second Pfizer next week and am in the middle of a very busy time at work and some exams coming up. I didn’t have any effects apart from a slightly sore arm after my first and am now rather apprehensive the second is going to put me out of action for a few days. I know no one can tell me definitively but has anyone sailed through both Pfizer’s without issue or am I doomed to some level of illness next week?

Yes, 3 weeks ago I had my second.
I had no problems at all with the first and apart from feeling a bit run down the next couple of days after I've been fine after the second.

VicSynix · 07/05/2021 09:25

Me!! Had absolutely no side effects after the first or the second.

2welshmums · 07/05/2021 09:27

Had my second in in March, not even a sore arm compared to first (I think injection technique was better Grin)

My friend however had her second and got flu like symptoms and needed to stay in bed for a couple of days. It just depends on how each individual reacts I suppose.

x2boys · 07/05/2021 09:28

Yes myself and my DH,both had our second Pfizer last weekend neither of us had any reaction to either injection.

TheTempest · 07/05/2021 09:31

DH had his second last Saturday, no side effects after either. I had my second AZ Tuesday and felt awful Wednesday but fine Thursday. Fingers crossed you’ll be fine Smile

Had my second Pfizer earlier this week. Had a bit of a headache and sore arm and feel slightly Gippy - like a mild hangover. However also in the middle of a mega stressful work period so might be that.

Lazierdays · 07/05/2021 09:33

Ahh thanks so much! That’s great to hear you all did ok. We only usually hear the people who had problems and so forget all the people who are fine. Well I’ll go with a positive mindset then, and hopefully will be ok! I’m sure worrying about how I’ll be ill wouldn’t be a good idea, don’t want any psychologically induced side effects Grin.

Due my second one today. I had no symptoms at all with the first one so 🤞

FictionalCharacter · 07/05/2021 09:35

DH has had both Pfizer. No problems at all.

20viona · 07/05/2021 09:36

Yeo nothing. One in Dec one in feb. Perfectly fine.

corlan · 07/05/2021 09:39

Had both doses - no issues except the sore arm.
Good luck!

Bells3032 · 07/05/2021 09:42

had both. slightly achy arm both times. that's it

Caramel81 · 07/05/2021 09:42

My mum has had both and felt fine other than a mild ache in her arm.

amiahoarder · 07/05/2021 09:43

I had mild side effects that didn't interfere with work or parenting.

LaTomatina · 07/05/2021 09:47

Yup. My mum and my MiL, both in their 70s (but fit and healthy) have both had 2nd shot of Pfizer a couple of weeks ago and didn't seem to affect them at all.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 07/05/2021 09:51

Mild side effects after first, none after second

ILookAtTheFloor · 07/05/2021 10:49

Only had a sore arm again, was gone in a day, did occur a bit quicker this time but that was it.

Certainly didn't prevent me doing my normal stuff.

katedan · 07/05/2021 11:00

I have had both of my Pfizer jabs in Jan and April and suffered no side effects apart from a sore arm.

JimBobNoJob · 07/05/2021 11:13

Parents have had both Pfizer vaccines, mildly sore arm and nothing more with either dose.

ElspethFlashman · 07/05/2021 11:18

I saw statistics that for the 2nd one, whether you got sick or not is about 50/50.

In other words 50% of people reported feeling unwell. That's a lot, so that's why it's so notorious. But actually it means a lot feel just fine!

Unfortunately I was one of the ones who had to take a day off work, but I know lots that sailed through.

ChristmasCovid · 07/05/2021 11:28

DH had his second yesterday - no issues apart from slightly sore arm last night. It doesn’t hurt today.

Izitso · 07/05/2021 11:44

All fine here after 2nd vaccination. No problems either time.

Chillychili · 07/05/2021 12:24

Me, I thought I had symptoms the first time. Felt very flu like, turned out I had a blocked milk duct. Had my second and had nothing, like others said didn’t even have a sore arm the second time. I had the same nurse do my both my vaccinations.

ItsFunneh · 07/05/2021 12:33

Had my 2nd Pizer on Wednesday. Just a sore arm like with the 1st jab. No other symptoms at all.

Hitsnooze · 07/05/2021 12:34

Sore arm with first. Nothing with 2nd at all
