Weird question after pfizer vaccine

I had my vaccine this morning and I didn't even feel a scratch, I literally felt nothing. I'm not wanting to have an achey arm or anything, but I've always been able to feel jabs in the past.
Anyone else not feel anything at the time they had their vaccine or afterwards? I'm a paranoid one lol as had lots of health problems so this isn't a negative thread, just curious.

I had mine of Tuesday and didn’t feel anything at the time or immediately afterwards. It was quite painful yesterday when touched but that was it.

starfish4 · 25/02/2021 16:17

Had the AstraZeneca one, and didn't feel anything either. It wasn't bad but I felt my flu jab and that was the one that made my arm ache.

Villanelle17 · 25/02/2021 16:17

Ah, glad it's normal then. Thank you. I bet I'll be hit with an achey arm tomorrow now Grin

I had Pfizer this morning. My arm feels little bit sore when lifting my arm.

JeanBodel · 25/02/2021 16:19

I had Pfizer, my arm started to get pretty sore a few hours afterwards.

Firefly89 · 25/02/2021 16:21

I didn’t feel anything with the jab but then halfway through the night my arm started to hurt!

Cornettoninja · 25/02/2021 16:34

I had mine around lunchtime and was convinced I’d not even been pricked with the needle till the next day when my arm started to ache and I had aching joints. Not really badly or anything, I would’ve happily had a day in bed, but I was fine to go to work, parent etc.

islockdownoveryet · 25/02/2021 16:47

I’m always a bit funny about needles but I thought it was barely a scratch. My arm ached a little though . My ds who's autistic who I was worried wouldn’t cooperate mustn’t of even felt it as was fine .

Guidebutton · 25/02/2021 16:48

I didn't feel the needle either and I didn't have a sore arm at the time. The next morning however...

BraveheartBella · 25/02/2021 16:49

I didn’t feel the needle at all when I had the Pfizer vaccine, arm didn’t ache until I went to bed and lay on it, then it felt like someone had punched me but that was it. No other side effects.

mummykauli7 · 25/02/2021 16:51

I had the astrazeneca one a few weeks ago. Had it in the morning, carried on working, started feeling really cold before bed and I slept through the whole of Saturday. Had a red itchy achy sore arm through the week and then completely back to normal.

LaurieFairyCake · 25/02/2021 16:52

Felt NOTHING - not it going in, no arm pain until 13 hours later and shivered/headache/arm pain for 2 days

So good luck with that GrinThanks

FuzzyTurquoise · 25/02/2021 16:55

I had Pfizer and it’s not a stingy vaccine so if the person doing it was quick and efficient, it’s quite likely you didn’t feel the scratch as it went in. It took my arm a few hours to feel a bit heavy and achy but it didn’t last long.

MistakenAgain · 25/02/2021 17:18

I felt the jab (AZ) but it was the day before my period when pain threshold is lower. Did not have a sore arm at all like many. I suppose if I press and rub it now it does feel like a small bruise.

nancywhitehead · 25/02/2021 17:20

Why would it be a problem that you didn't feel anything? Do you think they didn't actually inject you or something?

bungobango · 26/02/2021 08:27

I got Pfizer yesterday and still my only side effect is sore arm.

boymum9 · 26/02/2021 08:29

I had mine yesterday morning and had no pain or anything either however this morning my arm feels very painful! No other side effects though thankfully

MarieFromStTropez · 26/02/2021 08:30

I had mine yesterday and didn’t feel anything! I asked DD afterwards if she saw the nurse give me the injection. She said she did.

However, since last night, my arm has been aching and I feel crap. So I definitely did have the jab.

Trisolaris · 26/02/2021 08:35

My arm was really sore as was my brother and his GF

My dad and elderly neighbour felt nothing!

Villanelle17 · 26/02/2021 10:47

I started getting an achey arm last night and feel like I've been punched today, but no other side effects, fingers crossed

Logically no but I just wanted to make sure it was normal to not feel anything as I always have felt the injection before. I did say I get a bit paranoid- I'm a worrier unfortunately

I had the Pfizer one, I was convinced I'd get every side effect going but I just had a slightly sore arm a few hours after the jab. That was it! Apparently after the 2nd Pfizer jab the side effects can be a bit worse, but worth it for peace of mind imo.

makingmyway10 · 26/02/2021 11:16

I have just had mine this morning. Pfizer and I did not feel a thing, first vaccination I have had where I literally did not feel it but my arm aches now and is warm to the touch . Glad to have had it Smile

uncomfortablydumb53 · 26/02/2021 14:40

It's a sign of a great technique! It's abnormal if you do feel it
Had mine on Wednesday and didn't even notice

Dinky2004 · 26/02/2021 14:48

I had the pfizer yesterday morning, my arm is hurting but not badly and no other side effects so far
