Feels like Government has abandoned us

They've just disappeared.

We have no idea how long we are locked up for.

Why is this?

OP is feeling abandoned. I’m not sure it’s down to anyone here to have a go at her for ‘whinging’ or telling her she isn’t right to feel this way.

Whoever said there’s no accountability any more by politicians: dead right. Cummings: defended by Saint Boris, with “can we please move on” when questioned.

Boris recently grovelled (insincerely) about the dead, but did he grovel on behalf of those living through his lockdown? Oh my dear no. Not a word about the millions facing redundancy, depression, feeling suicidal, loss of mental health, children suffering. Nick Gibb said “not one child’s future will suffer”: is he personally guaranteeing that? Like hell he is. Not a word of apology about lies and gaslighting.

I do know what op means. Yes they're visible but they never really tell us what the strategy is. We're vaccinating wonderfully. And yet end of lockdown seems ever less likely.
Ifv the vaccines don't work as wonderfully as we want (personally I suspect they will) are we all just going to continue with this forever more? Do we get a say in that?

Thank you @StealthPolarBear. This is what I mean. You’ve articulated it better than me.
